Got a call to schedule my time.....deferred to people that actually need and want it. I’ll eventually get it if needed, but don’t feel strongly enough either way to champion one side or the other. Many at risk people are waiting in line bc they want it...I have no problem giving up my spot.

That sucks. My dad died from Covid just over 2 weeks ago. Was in a VA hospital and hadn't had any visitors since February. Just curious though, since your mom is deaf how is communicating with her in room vs. through a window any different?

Much easier sitting around the room and spending several hours with her than standing outside in weather. Unfortunately for me I’ve had melanoma and her room is on the sunny side. Got roasted in 40 degree weather. The sun was so intense I was in a T-shirt by the time we left. Double knee replacement doesn’t help.

Sorry to hear about your dad. That sucks dying alone. Very sad to hear.
