They are. I like Lubin but he is small. They missed an every portal big over the offseason. Their portal class is pretty bad. Tyson is supposed to be good but can't play at this level.

Its so dumb to run the pick and roll when you are trying to let your best player score.

Ball should have been in RJs hands at the top of the key. No lame pick n roll to bring an extra defender ..I hate when coaches do this.

UNC turned it up the 2nd half and either pushed the ball or just repeatedly but Dickinson in ball screens.
KU came out low energy in 2nd half and Self shrunk the floor by going strictly to KJ/Juan/Hunter 3-man game. Then just doubled down on it when UNC cut the lead to single digits.

This UNC team is small in the front court, something I never seen before hung with KU on the glass. I didn't see that coming but to come back and take the lead in that environment is a good sign. Rather have the win tho.
Credit to Carolina for storming back. They played a great second half.
Won’t happen, but the starting lineup should be Harris/Mayo/Griffen/Storr/Dickinson, with more minutes for Bidunga and less for KJ.

Yeah, not really by design. They just missed on guys. It will certainly be a guard dominant lineup. They were pretty fortunate the officials were calling a ton of fouls on drives versus down low last night.
I think Washington will develop once he gets used to playing. This will be a tough tournament team team but struggle during the season.
Kansas is lucky RJ sucked.
UNC look like the better team to me from the beginning.
