Dukes size also has athletic ability----Gonzaga's does not. Huge difference in the two.

Yeah, but as an official, you should concentrate on what the defense is doing(at that point). For me, sitting here, I was watching his feet----he clearly stepped forward.
Second call I was OK with.
But that first charge was bad---and TBH, not even close.
I so wish the NCAA would go to the NBA rule.
Arkansas making shots to stay in it right now but playing dumb basketball. That last out of control drive, throwing it at the basket and trying to get a call, led to a runout for Duke on the other end. Can't make those kind of mistakes at this stage.
Really making a lot of boneheaded plays. Can't do that against a team like Duke.
So. If we've learned anything it's that you can't anticipate a whistle. You play to get efficient shots and whether he got fouled or not makes no difference. He was driving with nowhere to go and it wasn't going to be a good shot either way. Duke got a fast break and easy deuce because of it.
Arky is not nearly as aggressive as they were the other night. Might be smart coaching for the first half, but they are gonna need to turn it up in the second half on defense

The epitome of stupid. After the ball went through the hoop and got away it burned clock and allowed Arkansas a chance to hold for the last possession. Instead, they shoot with way too much time left and Duke gets a 3 to end the half. Absolutely the dumbest thing you can ever do. This team is ignorant af.
Terrible last possession play for Arkansas at the end. Its a 9pts game, the worst they could do was to jack up a bad shot way before the shot block and gave up a 3 at the other end, and it actually happened.
Duke really could be even more comfortable right now if it not for the turnovers. But Arkansas has left a lot in the court as well.
As bad as Arkansas played on offense it was their defense that really let them down. They are way better than that.
Well Duke has faced 2 good defensive teams MSU and Texas Tech before, neither was able to slow them down. I feel that this Duke team's offense is unguardable, since they have more than one player who can consistently make contested shots that demoralize the opponents. You have to just get really hot offensively yourself, like how UNC beat Duke on the road. Duke actually scored 81 in that game which was quite a lot, but UNC scored 90+.
Arkansas doesn't know how to defend the elite offense of the ACC. They looked good vs the SECrubs
Its been the issue with Arkansas-----not very good IQ, and at times, they play waaaaay to much, "play ground basketball".
Transformation of Roach has elevated this team BIG TIME. And as you mentioned, Duke has 3-4 guys who can take oyu off the dribble, score mid-range, or get to the rim----Or simply knock down the three...Then there is WIlliams inthe middle.
Not at all----Arkansas can get hot, and score in bunches. Plus defensively they have the ability to cause issues----And with Notae----its not ever over.
Arky gotta quit settling for long jumpers, long two's eespecially and contested three's. They are taking terrible shots.
Way too easy for banchero inside. If they're gonna let him have that they may as well just get on the bus now.
