Way to early to know. It wouldn't surprise me if we have someone leave that we aren't expecting. Waddell is gone and most are assuming Berg will follow but will someone else go? TBD.
Painter has said he will dip into the portal for 1 or 2 (hopefully a taller Lance Jones and a stretch 4 IMO). Depending on how good they are, I could see Cox and Jacobsen starting the season coming off the bench. Smith and TKR are locks to start if they return and Loyer is damn close to it (tho if we could upgrade his position and allow him to be a sharpshooter off the bench, it would make us very potent).
Feel like we are a couple of months away from having real discussions about B1G favorites because so many rosters are and will be in flux.
I’d be shocked if Loyer doesn’t start tbh.
And on a side note, I’m shocked Catchings is in the portal lol.

Crazy some out there think all of these changes are good for the sport.
It is basically a 9mo season and start over while most teams will retain 1 meaningful player per season; 2 if they are super fortunate.
The ncaa leadership wakes up every morning and thinks of all the ways they can make their product worse. It’s their kink, they can’t get enough of it.
They’re gonna start talking about expanding the tournament again, just to get their next high.

A lot of my friends were history, sociology, and other liberal arts majors. They all went to law school, med school, or Wall Street and are doing very very well for themselves. Majors don’t matter at elite schools like Yale.
After two years of college? That was your claim.
And yes...yes they do matter. Purdue has majors that exceed same majors at Yale and so does IU.
Yale has a lot of legacy mids enrolled and employers know that.
Yeah, I always chuckle when Michigan alum try to flex their piece of paper. I made more on my associates degree from a shit school than the average Michigan grad makes on their bachelor degree. Type of degree matters. Michigan didn’t the program I needed.
Michigan is a very good school as all BIG schools are. Each has programs and disciplines that excel globally. Each has majors and disciplines that are beneficial for only a small number of students.
This notion that majors or fields of study do not matter when comparing universities is laughable.
As you say, the choice needs to be about what works for you!

Really need guards and a ball handler/passer with Wolf 99% leaving. Another guy who doesn’t have great size or shooting tho. Obviously very interested to see how it impacts the guards on the roster.

Bummed to see Colvin leave but can’t fault him for wanting more PT.
Feels good to land the best player in the transfer portal.
We have a ton of young guards, 2 freshmen and Loyer/Heide eating PT this season. A RS freshman and another Freshman joining, plus Painter likely adding another wing from the portal. He was going to have to make major strides to get more PT than he was getting, and he wants more than that. His highlight reel alley-oops and put back dunks were fun to watch though.
