IMO May used this to get a raise as weill Brownell and perhaps others.
May has a great gig. Distrant second to FB in terms of pressure. Hero if he wins, employed if he loses.
Nevermind him. May has a good thing going in Michigan, no reason to disrupt that. I do think there's too many connections for May in Bloomington to risk tarnishing.Employed if he loses? How would one know that? Michigan has been a top 3 program in the Big Ten over the past 15 years. Michigan parted ways with Juwan Howard after Juwan’s first losing season. Michigan doesn’t have the losing culture Indiana has.
Impressed with the coaching additions this year to the conference.nice hire @Deathclutch !
Gotta keep up with the SEC.....Impressed with the coaching additions this year to the conference.
Should've hired him 4 years ago....nice hire @Deathclutch !
Did not travel.Knew this would become a thing. Don't know if he was injured or May saw the writing on the wall as he hasn't played the last 5 games.
Also don't know if he traveled with the team last weekend, but if I was the coach, he sure as hell wouldn't be traveling with the team this week.
Thanks for the intel. Figured it was something like that. I wish the portal didn't open until after the season but evidently, coaches want it early enough so they can be done with portal recruiting before the summer.Did not travel.
Not sure on the full situation because he did play a bit as a true frosh. Probably wants a guarantee to play more and could definitely see him moving closer to home.
He has been out with a “concussion” but questioning that now obviously
His letter left it open for a return but I wouldn't care either way. But too long of a road to count anything yet, will see who stays when the dust settles.Assuming the guys IU has had enter the transfer portal actually leave, who is left? I candidly don't know. Seems Iowa is in the same boat.
Fair enough. "Loses" is a relative term. Howard had bigger issues beyond his wins and losses.Employed if he loses? How would one know that? Mich is a FB school and would move on coaches quickly, much like Indiana in basketball for example moves on coaches far sooner than most but the expectations are different.
Iu didn't take May, so you are good.
CorrectWhat evidence do you have Michigan wouldn’t move on from a bad coach?
You guys kept Archie Miller and Mike Woodson each for 4 years.
I’m not. Golf trip next week, Masters tix the week after and 2 week trip to Europe in late May has me watching what I spend.
Without checking I’d say the other 6 breakdown would be something like:
Regardless, the list needs more Iowa.Without checking I’d say the other 6 breakdown would be something like:
MSU- 3
Maryland- 1
Wisconsin- 1
Illinois- 1
We have zero. Fire Gard.Without checking I’d say the other 6 breakdown would be something like:

Yea. Not since. 8 years without.Thought you made it in 2017?
You know who you are trying to converse with right? It’ll be pointless bud. What evidence do you have Michigan wouldn’t move on from a bad coach?

Nah I’ll be in Cincinnati for opening day wed night/Thursday so would have been tough to pull that off for Friday anyway. But with ticket prices for decent seats being what they are and being in Lucas-Oil, think I’d rather just watch it on tv in the first place.

I’ve only had like 5 weekends at home in Denver this year and felt like it wasn’t worth it considering.
Makes sense. Last one I went to was the loss to Virginia. I’m still recovering.I’ve only had like 5 weekends at home in Denver this year and felt like it wasn’t worth it considering.
Plus the only Purdue tourney games I’ve been to are VCU, Kansas in Kansas City, and UConn…so it’s probably best I steer clear.
