***Official B1G In-Season Thread***

I bet they would love them in the off-season thread....where us long timers agree to go after our team is eliminated.
What a dumb concept, no wonder it failed.

given the interest and ratings, I would think updates are appreciated wherever I chose to put them.

Btw Lady Hoosiers up at the half by one over the heavily favored game cocks.

We'll never know, IU won't play Kentucky on a neutral court, which is why Kentucky cancelled the series.
The first cancelled game was scheduled for Lexington and Calislimy didn’t want to get pounded at home. Now that Cal is gone the series including Neutral site games resumes.

As much as you guys focus on all aspects of IU all the time you surely knew this.

Update. The Cocks win the game by 11. Now your weekend is a success wee man

Man CSU got an enormous break on that elbow to the head on Geronimo. That was an F1 at the very minimum on CSU’s best player (other than Morton, of course).

Yeah it’s absurd to miss that. Inexcusable, honestly. How is nobody in the ref’s ear?

That said… CSU has looked like the better team from the jump. They have been on a roll for a while now and are not even slightly intimidated. I think Maryland can grind them down in the second half but their Defense and effort on the glass needs to be so much better

Ethan Morton giving nice minutes. Wild that he’s having to defend Queen.

The Maryland guards are getting going. Fun game.

Illinois fvcking sucks. Watching this MSU-New Mexico game. Sparty needs to get it together

Sure didn't have Ole Miss curb stomping Iowa State on my bingo card for today, but the second round has had some surprising upsets or near upsets.

There was both a travel and a foul on that play.

The younger folks will dismiss the travel with the "gather" myth.

The older folks will dismiss the foul with the "you can't call that at this point in the game" myth.

No, getting older, I was confused.

These Illinois stats crack me up:
- 2 pt FGA/game: 244th
- 2 pt shooting %: 18th in the country
- 3 pt FGA/game: 4th
- 3 pt shooting %: 317th

Like what the hell are you doing? Work the ball to play for switches, then use your length and versatility to attack those match ups and get the ball into the lane. But instead they just heaved threes all year.

What's crazy is that they were talented enough to get this far. Could've been dangerous if they didn't play away from their strengths.
