Illinois is absolutely on fire. Not sure i have ever seen a performance like this.
Just looked at the box score. They are shooting 48% overall and 42% from three. That is good but far from "on fire".
They're literally the same people as IU fans.
The other thing I notice is that there are a few Ill fans there.
Not even the same species.
No clue I'm still in football mode but will be fun to watch with the NIL IU basketball can spend.
The other thing that is relevant is that there are some Ill fans there. Doesn't happen often but when it happens, Ill brings some in.

Wolf is a stud. I didn't know his game but watched a lot of Goldin last year so I was concerned about what that duo could do and the concern has been warranted.

Both teams had reason for concern last night and for the same reason, but one came out on fire and the other...did not. One team got their top scorer back and one did not, but one was on their home floor.

Keep hoping to see Mike Woodson was let go. Team still has talent and sometimes a change can improve team morale. Hard to fire a former player mid season but it's needed if they want to try and salvage anything. It's inevitable so get it over with.
