I will give shit to whoever deserves it, Mr. my team lost by 30 to a mid major.
Yeah dude I know it wasn’t a good showing. I’m not under the impression that IU is a good program. I said I didn’t think they were going to win before the game.
I knew you weren’t going to win. I didn’t think it’d be that bad. Tough coming out of the first four.
I didn’t watch the game. Were they doubling TJD or were they able to defend him straight up?
They were just having trouble getting him touches. St Mary’s wasn’t really doubling post touches but they were containing dribble drives and covering up passing lanes. IU also legit gave up with like 18 minutes left in the second half, so there wasn’t much to take away from that period of the game. It’s been a mentally weak group of players for awhile (part of the reason why they lost so many games late in conference), and St Mary’s broke their spirit with their relentless offense. They’re a slow pace team, but they’ll just ball screen you to death and that’s what they did to IU
Was just curious because I’ve watched some SM games this year and their team defense is very legit. Bummer to end like that but a lot to build on for IU
They're a tough team for sure. Felt like we were playing ourselves when we beat them in Maui...errrr...Vegas.

I talked about this on the homebound.
Unfortunately, I doubt the Big Ten will want to give up that cash cow. Prime spot right before the Selection Show making it one of the most viewed non-tournament games of the year.
In fact, even though the numbers were down slightly from last year, the Iowa-Purdue game was the second most-watched game of the year, just behind Duke-UNC the prior week for Coach K's last home game.

So can we start giving any credence to the idea that switching to the Wilson ball for the NCAA Tournament is affecting scoring?
Because there is a lot of "bad offense" in just a day and one game through the Tournament......
No plenty of high scoring games. Iowa just wasn’t one of them.
