Purdue is better than Illinois. Fact. Brad Underwood complains incessantly about officiating, which then empowers your fanbase to blame officiating every time you lose a game. Fact.They don't, but you constantly talk shit about us ... like, you played one of your best games of the year and beat us handily at home, and you beat us in double OT in Champaign. Congrats on two great wins. End of story. We're both in the exact same situation right now as far as winning a Big Ten title, nobody is standing up on a mountain.

This year’s team at least has got Johnny D. That year’s team I don’t think had any all-big 1st teamer or even 2nd teamer.

If I were Purdue, I'd be a little more worried that a team Iowa just beat by 26, was able to shut down "the #4 team in the country" and the "alleged" best chance the Big Ten has at getting a team to the Final Four.
You guys looked like an exposed two man show with no real clutch 3 pt shooting out there today.
If you're gonna continue to play like this, don't ever beat Iowa in any sport ever again........

How many games has Purdue not shot the 3 well? You can probably count on one hand. Even with that, it still took a really good game by MSU to beat us where we couldn’t shoot for shit and turned it over a ton.

Thank you for that. I don’t think I could’ve watched Purdue get court stormed 3 times in one year.
Underwood complained about the OSU game, it's not like he has constantly been blaming refs ... not sure where you got that from. Even as YOU said in another past post, the refs are quite literally unfair and bad at reffing 7-footers. That is naturally going to upset fans of a team with a 7-footer.
And like I said ... talk all the shit you want about sweeping us, you deserve it. But constantly saying it's a "fact" that you're better than us as we sit in the exact same situation is just patting yourself on the back and kind of pointless.

For us, I believe it was Ayo's freshman year when we were still terrible but starting to show some promise with all of the young guys, and we beat #9 Michigan State in a very exciting game. I am NOT a court-storming snob (can't think of anything lamer than getting worked up about literal college kids having fun after a huge win because you're an old online fart who attaches your program's pride to such things), but this occasion might have been a bit weak, haha.

Bad timing to play MSU to be sure, knew they'd come out energized to stop the bleeding and get another quality win. Purdue's backcourt is not great outside of Ivey and IMO that was a lot of the story of this game.
I think we can win out, honestly. In a HUGE change from a few weeks ago, Iowa at home scares me the most. I think we will bring it in Ann Arbor tomorrow and beat them. PSU at home is honestly kind of scary, too, haha...
I don’t know what it would take at this point. We secured a Big Ten Title and shut UM out of it on Senior Day of the 18-19 season and didn’t get a court storm.

Rutgers is a good matchup for Wisconsin. Should be an interesting game. McConnell can guard Davis and I think the matchup between Harper and Wahl is a good one too.

From the games I have watched, Purdue is still the best team in the league and is absolutely a Final Four threat with the right path. However, they do seem to just randomly lay an egg every once in a while (and play lights out vs. Illinois, lol...), so they'll certainly be on upset alert.
I expected Rutgers to storm the court, IU even since they've been dogshit for a while, the UM one surprised me a bit though.
Yeah, usually you only see storming the court after an exciting finish. Michigan was just on fire while Purdue was totally off, and that game was over early.
It’s the worst matchup for us in the Big Ten . Students are on break and Michigan has fair weather basketball fans so crowd won’t be huge . No reverse jynx
