Nassar Trial
Whoa whoa whoa, tiger. What the **** are you talking about? I just asked if you were a girl, because I didn't know if you were... the only girls I know that post here are Kistek and BKO, and I wondered if I had missed something that was common knowledge. It wasn't a rebuttal, and who doesn't know that anyone can molested? I was just asking because I didn't know. Chill the **** out.

And your take... that these parents likely knew their daughters were being molested, but they were so blinded by the potential of... what, gymnastics fame...?... that they just let it happen? Pretty crazy take; basically accusing these parents of being monsters. Sorry man (or girl?)... I'm not buying it.
STFU with that BS.
Literally, on the lives of my children, that's EXACTLY what I was thinking and doing. Like, literally. You are taking this in some bizarre way that I don't get. Like... what, I am the type of guy who is going to suggest that only women get molested or it is your fault if you are a woman or something.

You believe Nassar was the "Houdini of Molesters" and tricked 150 something parents over 20 some years?

I'm not the poster you were asking, but yes. I have an easier time believing that no parents knew when the alternative is "30ish fathers knew their daughter was being molested, knew who was doing the molesting, and didn't immediately try to end his life".

I just read a father that had 3 different daughters abused by this POS had a chance to speak today.

Randall Margraves asked the judge, as part of her sentencing, to give him five minutes alone with Nassar. When the judge said she couldn’t do that, he then asked for one minute. When she said no again, he rushed at the defendant’s table, but was quickly subdued by bailiffs.

I think thats exactly what should happen to this guy---let the dads level justice.
I sure hope this dad doesn't face any legal action for this.
If it had been me I would have tried to kill the bastard.

More power to Randall Margraves. That is what fathers do. They protect their daughters.

I disagree. Too long running and too many victims. The Penn St/Sandusky thing for comparison was 12 kids over 25 years. This is 150 + girls in a similar time span.

For some reason if I post a few times in a row it won't allow me to post again for several hours. So it saves what I try and post right after it cuts me off and sends it once I try to post another message later once the limit expires again. So it ends up sending it like that. Sorry to inconvenience you Princess.

I'm a boy, not a girl.

So not a single father in 25 years had a problem with his eight year old daughter getting fingered by some fifty year old creep? I want to make sure I'm understanding you correctly.

Go to this thread, it's on the football board.

What we saw out of Randall Margraves in his explosion toward Larry Nassar in the courtroom was as human and raw of a reaction as you will see. It wasn't macho by any means....not by a long shot. To say this father had to have known his 3 daughters were being molested by Nassar well before his daughters actually told him isn't a fair comment. The judge absolutely did the right thing in no punishing Mr. Margraves. He did exactly what a majority of us were thinking. Fortunately for Nassar, Margraves was tackled short of reaching Nassar.

I would pay for a video of the five minutes that Mr. Margraves asked for; it would be great pay TV.

Absol-F**king-Lutely!! Can you imagine the number of the American general public who would shell out the money on pay-per-view to see Margraves (or anyone in his situation) thrash around Nassar for 5 minutes. A whole new version of private justice would be born in a heartbeat.

As for Nassar, the prison system may have it in their best interest to lock Nassar away deep in solitary confinement for 24 hours each day. Otherwise Nassar won't last 5 minutes in the prison general population. Hell, maybe placing Nassar in the prison general population would be the best route to take. Get it over with quick.

Maybe we can sneak some cell phones into prison so the inmates can video what is guaranteed to happen to him once he gets there

You believe Nassar was the "Houdini of Molesters" and tricked 150 something parents over 20 some years? US Gymnastics while not interesting as a sport to this board. It is a big honor for people in that sport , so yea I believe at least some parents turned a blind eye to some degree and devoutly believed in the program.
You believe that parents knew their daughters were being molested but ignored it b/c gymnastics is prestigious. That's more believable to you than that parents trusted a doctor and victims didn't have the wherewithal to speak up.

Neither was a comprehensive list of victims, and no one knew anyone else was a victim. If anything, the larger number should convince you they didn't know, rather than that there was some large sample size of parents who all sacrificed their daughters' safety.

A logical deduction.
