SEC is now a really tough basketball conference. It's nothing against Pope but it's his first year throwing together a roster late who have no experience playing with each other. That's tough for any coach, especially in a decent conference. I think he'll be good down the road but not year 1 here.

I think the SEC and the big 12 will beat up on each other in conference play. It's nice to see Bama in the top2 or 3 in the conference but winning some games on the road is going to be tough sledding.
