From hottest team in college basketball to coldest in a week. Let the 14-point dogs come into their house and on a 7-game losing streak and walk out with the W. Yikes.
I completely understand what you're saying, but IU is better than they have recently played. And tonight they played a really good game. It's not like it was against a team tha RT hadn't won a game yet, or somehow isn't still in the tournament projections. Although, I'm not understanding how that's still possible

I said it this week in a thread (not sure which one) I didnt see why MSU was getting so much love. And still there best win is Purdue...

Will they drop in the Polls?

UK will jump MSU (AP Poll), but I don't think the top 5 changes, even with UM losing, I don't see how UK could jump them.

IU getting Davis back is huge. Especially for MSU. I'd love to see him get in better shape. He's a problem with healthy. Made shots tonight. Langford was really aggressive; Didn't get any love from the officials---but I liked how he played tonight. I mean I could tell from the opening tip, there was a different bounce to this team. You kinda of sensed they felt they could win.

Now just gotta build off this. Six of our final nine, are at home. Win out at home, and IU's probaly an NCAAT team.

If IU wins out at home then I would bet any amount of money that their in the tournament!

I said it a few weeks ago, but I bet every team in the BIG besides the Michigan teams end up having at least a 3 game skid, or lose 4 out of 5 type of deal.

When Duke and IU played was IU shorthanded due to injuries like they are now?

*They're

There is a disturbing amount of misuse of there, their, and they're in this thread.

Looking at the stats IU had 9 guys playing significant minutes. Were any of the 4 starters?
I don't think so, but its been so long ago and so many missed games, its kind of hard to keep track anymore. I feel pretty confident, on that night it really wouldn't have mattered.

ESPN kept MSU at 5 in their power rankings. Pretty surprised

Odd, losing on the road against Purdue (-3 Boilers closing spread) shouldn’t have bumped them down much, but losing at home (MSU -14) should knock them down, but what do I know.

Losing Langford has knocked MSU down a tier, they are not one of the favorites anymore.

Yep. Winston and Langford were a deadly duo. MSU doesn’t have another guard that is a scorer like Langford. Henry will be a good one but he’s not ready as a frosh to shoulder that much of a load. McQuaid and Ahrens are good role players but not scorers.

IU was due for a win. They are going to go on a run. They need to after losing 7 in a row

Could any non-IU fan post a reasonable guess on how this IU team finishes? I say 9-11 and inside the bubble.
