Meanwhile Duke getting ready for that pesky 89th ranked FSU tonight...

We get it. The ACC sucks and Duke is in the ACC so they don't play great teams. Does it make you non championship having cousin fvckers hard to repeat the same thing over and over?
You can thank the national media sucking off duke a much as possible for threads like this

You can control what the media decides to talk about as much as Duke can control the strength of their conference. Can't wait for the next thread whining about Duke's opponents.

example. colle gameday going to duke/unc next saturday over Auburn/alabama

I agree with OP this is exactly why I hate Clemson. It's pisses me off beyond belief that they get so much credit for beating Pathetic teams while the Vols have to work their ass off every single game

So an Auburn fan is whining about Duke and a Tennessee fan is whining about Clemson in the middle of what is a dream season for their programs. You two bitches can't be happy with your teams' success for 2 seconds without whining about the strength of the ACC. It's weird.

Man, the tourney can’t come soon enough. Tired of hearing about weak conference opponents when teams like Duke, Louisville and Clemson are beating the teams they should. Similar to the historic suckage of the SEC when there were only a few teams that were any good for decades on end. Laughable.

Pretty much. These conference honkers are programs who have literally not won jack shit outside of Kentucky (who might I add played a cream puff conference schedule forever up until last year). Weird group.

Louisville has 1 good win all season

you've only heard it for 1 season, we heard about how weak the SEC was for 10 years.

In the words of the Carpenter's: "We've only just beguuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnn"

We’re 23-6 and were projected 9th preseason in the ACC with kenpom having us only win 15-17 games this year in a rebuild. Now we’re ranked inside the top 20 and have our first tourney bid since Chris Mack following the Kenny Payne disaster with a full roster turnover. As sec fans said for years on end “the tourney is all that matters”. I couldn’t be happier with how well this season has went for us.

Kentucky always played a solid OOC schedule, but I don’t recall sunshine pumping the big east or acc when we were on top. Especially after losses. There were a lot of teams beating each other up then too. None of this will ultimately matter until the tourney starts. Sure, seeding matters but that’s why cbb is great with upsets and Cinderella stories.

'cept that little bugaboo where y'all lost your superbowl to Big Daddy again. 😜

It’s hilarious and cute how you guys all the sudden come down with amnesia when these discussions take place.

Even though UK has owned UL for ages, y'all troll 24/7/365. Nobody is going to buy what you're trying to sell here.

That's what makes it so stupid for the conference pride folks to continue to harp on how bad the ACC is this year as if that makes the top teams worse. Especially seeing how we don't even know how the tournament is going to play out.

The last time the SEC won a championship (UK 2012) the second place team was 6 games back. Before that it was Florida. Who had a good LSU team in the conference, but other than that, a couple of other tourney teams. That doesn't mean that the 2012 Kentucky team wasn't very good. Or the 05 and 06 Florida teams weren't good. It just means s the number of good teams in the conference really doesn't mean shit. It's a weird thing to whine about. I don't know who is worse, the homos that pump their conference up or the homes who bitch about how bad other conferences are.

Kentucky played in a shit conference for years on end, and now all of the sudden it matters when the acc is down and the sec doesn’t suck royal cock for the first time ever? That’s what’s funny. Better hope the sec shows out in the tourney. We weren’t ranked and wanted to get above .500 this year for the first time in years after horrible coaching. We surpassed all expectations, and now it’s a “well your conference sucks” deflection. We weren’t supposed to do shit this year according to the media and pollsters and we’re now top 2 in the conference with an 80% winning record and 90% conference winning record. We were supposed to be in the bottom half and not make the tournament. Think about that. Injuries happen and two of our best players went down just like yours. However, that’s the way the game goes. I think our team has a pretty high ceiling in the tournament. UL and UK should be happy with our coaches and future.

The latter on your last statement. It’s a moral victory after many losses in conference. Kentucky now has double digit losses but the excuses are piling up.

Fans are going to fan. Is what it is. UK seems to be under attack daily, but I get it, it's a jealousy thing. If UK sucked, nobody would say shit about them.
Duke is getting a little ribbing this year, same thing, if Duke sucked, nobody would say a word about them.

Meh. I’m still happy with our season and that was a very good game that could’ve gone either way.
You should be happy. I want to be happy with you guys, but y'all keep blowing shade at us, which makes it hard to do.

Dude, every year y^all find different ways to throw punches at UK and making fun of our weak conference was always one of the ways you guys did it.
You can't act like you guys were innocent all these years and we just came out of nowhere with the conference strength thing.

With double digit losses, UK is still ahead of Louisville in every metric. Louisville only has 6 losses. How can that be?

But again, you are suffering from amnesia, from the second Louisville got into the ACC, you guys have thrown conference strength in our faces even though UK owned y'all on the court, but now you're trying to act like the conference strength trolling is stupid.

You can't make this shit up.
