Other than booing the refs, I can't recall booing in Rupp since the Gillispie years.

It’s called home crowd in basketball. Anytime a call that may have been good but is even slightly questionable, the crowd boos. If it’s a bad call, which happens a bit in college basketball as we all know, the home crowd goes berserk. It’s just basketball
