Matt Bevin is the reason that we have such a uk influence right now. He dismantled the BOT and replaced them with his dumb ass’s. I’m a republican and I voted for Beshear like most Louisville fans did. He (Bevin) lost the governorship, but we are still dealing with a group that use words like trajecterdy. That’ll change someday, but Bevin will NEVER be governor again.

It would never go over at uk because Kentucky would never vote a Louisville fan as governor. What am I going to do? I’m going to continue with my life and watch Louisville sports when it is convenient. I don’t go out of my way and change my schedule anymore because of sports. It’s actually much better this way. There is a lot of truth to the statement that many uk fans feel their self worthiness is according to how uk sports is doing. I still love the message boards even though I don’t live and breathe college sports like I had in the past.

I'd like to think all the UK ppl at UL will do the right thing. Lord knows they learned from the best.
Also words can express me not meeting UL fans in person. UL fans > UM fans by far. Not even close. Might as well be two different conferences.
She got her BA (UK) and MA (EKU) in speech pathology. 😆 She was also the dean at UK for 20 years. I like her. I think Louisville should hire her as the next permanent president.

I don’t live and die by Louisville athletics, but it is what it is right now. There’s so many uk people in the Louisville administration right now it’s ridiculous, that’s how Matt Jones always breaks any news about Louisville.
As much as I dislike Beshear, he’s still done a better job than Bevin did. We just didn’t have much to choose from. As screwed up as this state is, ex convict Ritchie Farmer could be governor if he wanted to.
Yeah, it's definitely a very odd situation and it's weird how so many UK people have been hired in high ranking positions over there.
I definitely wouldn't be happy about it if UK had a bunch of UL people in those positions, that's just crazy.
But I can't imagine anyone would sabotage a rival when it’s their reputation at stake too.
Oh they were both shit choices, I agree. I hope they have better candidates in coming years. What cost Bevin is much the same of what cost Trump, he's just an abrasive asshole. If he had displayed just a hint of being a decent person instead of a self-absorbed egomaniac all the time, he would still be the governor.
