1987 happened and not only did it happen, but it happened in one of the best games in tournament history….AND I was in the building. DePaul and Rod Strickland vs St. John’s and Mark Jackson. Two lifelong NYC rivals. DePaul missed a free throw on purpose down 2 at the end, got the rebound and laid it in at the buzzer to tie. Won in OT. Best game I’ve ever seen live. I was 16 years old and ditched school to be there. Painted my face red and blue but did such a bad job it turned purple.

Oregon has an upward trajectory in CFB and CBB. I don't know what UM's situation is at the moment.
