Kentucky Vs Ohio State Cancelled Due to Covid

COVID is blasting pros would seem only a matter of time before it starts impacting college action too.

Testing in pros probably a lot tougher.

Getting a bad feeling about future cancellations now.

There has been a serious lack of good games this non con. Sucks to lose one of the few. I feel like KU and UK usually have awesome games leading up to league and we might have a combined 1 or 2 max.

Duke was supposed to play Cleveland State on Saturday but the game was cancelled because of positive Covid tests in the Cleveland State program. Duke niece plays Loyola Maryland on Saturday.

Too bad Cal pussed out on Michigan this year. Seems like he may have dodged a win on that one.
What will be remembered, by some, is UK backed out. It may of helped UM. From my understanding, all three games are still to be played including London.

Yeah, all the games are supposed eventually still happen. The excuse was just bullshit, something about scheduling difficulties related to Covid. The game was already scheduled though, lol.

From my understanding we backed out after learning we were going to play KU on the road, that would have given us 3 true road games OOC along with ND and UM. I guess that's one too many. UM was the guy left out. Easier to reschedule.

I could be wrong. too tired to look it up.

I am sure UK already knew they were likely to get a road game in the Challenge since they were scheduled to play at home last year against Texas. They also had to know there was a good chance they would be playing Kansas again this year because they haven't played them in the Challenge since 18-19 and they weren't scheduled to play them in the Champion's Classic this year. They also should have known it would be at Kansas since the last two times they've played in the Challenge it's been at Rupp.

Some could cay UK has ducked AFH for years. The scheduling hasn't been uniform.

I just assume we play KU every year and in the CClassic years we play WVU. As long as Huggins is there.

There is a bit on randomness to it but every year UK has played in the SEC-Big 12 Challenge they have had the same alternating road/home schedule. They've also mixed up opponents quite well. Obviously UK-KU is the marquee match-up that happens more often than not but they've not played anyone else more than once. This will be the 4th time they have played Kansas since it started in 2013-14. They've also played Baylor, Texas, WVU, and Texas Tech. Last year would have been the 2nd time they played Texas in the event. I believe the organizers try to match teams as equally as possible, which is why the match-ups are scheduled just a few months before the start of the season each year and not years in advance. If they are still doing the Challenge a few years from now it will be weird seeing Texas and Oklahoma on the SEC side.

UK is going to play somebody. Pitino wanted in on the action. Depends on UCLA and if they back out or not. Last I heard they haven't responded. Cal said he they would play sat and sun if needed

And Louisville too, obvs.
Transitive property totes works in sports. I see why Cal scheduled a slew of school of the blind teams to boast his record after last years pitiful 9-16 record. Two more wins and you’re right there!
