Until it actually happens this is my stance also, I can easily see a 3+ team logjam at 12-6. KSU with two road games coming up after a court storming, they certainly will come back to earth, KU I cant see losing more than twice the rest of the way, probable L @ TT and they probably get tripped up once in their other 3 road games, wont ever bank on a loss at Phog Allen regardless how they look. ISU I think has the best shot to close the door on them with a 13-5 record currently at 7-3 with 3 tough road games left, steal a road game and protect home court and it should be theirs.
Baylor is still getting no respect....
The Big XII is really down this year imo. Still a lot of parity, but definitely weaker at the top. I don’t see anybody being above a 4 seed unless KU can find a way to get Dok healthy through some as of yet to be invented technology.

If KU finishes strong (most of the toughest games have been played), they should be in the running for a 2. They've essentially played nothing but tourney teams all year and have a lot of quality wins.
If they can just clean up the dumb, unforced turnovers, they'll be fine.
Baylor has some very suspect Ls, I cant put them on an elite tier. Only way to over look it is if they finish the year strong and win the Big XII to make up for it. SFA, Ole Miss, WSU, Tx Southern... Their turnaround is remarkable but not enough to pretend the OOC games didn't happen.

Kansas guys, Vick taking a leave of absence from the team? Whats that all about? ESPN reporting personal issues, but that's pretty broad. Just wondering if you guys have heard anything
At first I was skeptical if Vick’s leave was really family related. Now I do think it’s family related personal issues but not sure of the extent. I haven’t been a fan of his effort as of late but assuming this is a real family matter, I wish Vick the best and hope the issue is worked out.

The Big XII really is falling apart. KU is down 3 starters, KSU is a good defensive team with no true threats on offense outside of Wade, Baylor is a sheep in wolve’s clothing.... and Tech is a good defensive team that can’t score. Basically a less experienced version of KSU.
ISU probably has the best ceiling now that KU is without Vick, and depending on whether Garret can get healthy. But they are inconsistent and just aren’t well rounded enough to win when the jumpers aren’t falling, and they seem to have those games from time to time.
I don’t see the Big XII getting more than 5 teams in the tourney and none of them are dominant teams. I don’t expect us to make any noise in March. Of course I say this....watch us get 3 teams to the Elite Eight and a team in the FF. That’s basketball for ya.
