Jay Wright is under rated.

What are you sipping on tonight, Lurker? I can tell you're on the sauce.

Drinking Borden.

Imagine though Kevin if he Calipari type of talent???:D:D They'd change it from the Hall of Fame, to the House of Jay Wright.

And in 3....2.....1...:D

Love Wright. Magnificent coach. Folks sleeping on Nova are gonna be in for a shock. Bet it. Folks they gonna be really good.

Brunson and Spellman were both top 20 guys. Mix guys like that with a bunch of 4-star juniors and seniors and voila, magic.
it also helps that they made just about every shot they threw up in the tournament. Live by the 3 die by the 3 works when you don't have a single cold shooting night.

I'd say he's just about there. Remain consistent for the next 2-4 years and he's in.

What do you mean by consistent? Consistent would be winning another championship in the next 2-4 years. He doesn’t have to do that to be in the HoF.

They were going to never have a cold shooting night because their entire team could hit the 3 ball. So that’s basically saying their entire team has to be off and the odds of that were pretty slim...

Has he created an endless supply of these three point machines in a laboratory?

How is a 2 time NC winner from a school with only 1 previous NC still not in the HOF with current body of work? Lou Carnasecca is in the HOF lol cmon man.

I bet he gets in within the next few years. Calipari and Self both just made it in recent years. With this years championship Jay Wright is pretty much guaranteed a spot sometime soon.

And yet they somehow lost games during the season so the odds aren't that bad especially considering they played in football arena's that are historically difficult to shoot in.

My point was just that 1-5 on the floor could shoot the 3 ball at any given time and just the odds of them slipping up when it’s all on the line is just unlikely with that many players capable of hitting it on their team

'Nova was actually pretty cold against TTU in the E8 game. Shot 33% from the floor and 17% from deep. They just ate at the FT line that game.

This year's team is pretty talented but they've lost way more experience than any year since I think before the 2012-2013 season. Tough OOC schedule and the BE is pretty weak. Should be an interesting season.

Wright's done a great job identifying fits, bringing them in, and developing them over the last few years. Think getting Spellman in the first round and the way they used him during his RS frosh season will be useful long-term. Nice to have a track record of having big guys play successfully on the perimeter.

Consistent with what he did prior to the past 3 years.

Nova shot 4 - 24 from 3 point range against Texas Tech and won by double-digits.

The team was just on another level. This is what happens when you recruit extremely high IQ and unselfish players that are very skilled from a dribble, shoot, pass perspective. Then you coach them to prioritize team defense and communication.

35 free throw attempts help.
