Would be a great hire but I doubt he’d want to take a step back at this point in his career.

Posted this many times over the years, but outside of his handling of a couple of off-court issues I have always been a fan of Painter and would have liked to have seen what he could do at a place with the advantages and resources of Indiana. Hell, we were one Todd Leary away from finding out.
