Guy hasn't been to the S16 since his sophmore year when he was playing with 3 NBA players.

Guy has one NCAA win in the last 3 years despite playing 2 of those years for a Blue Blood and 1 of those years for a team that had been to 5 straight sweet 16s.

Has there ever been a player who has accomplished less in terms of wins and losses relative to the schools he played for and opportunities he had?

I mean he still made off with at least a couple mil. He always has had plenty of talent, but at the same time he always has been prone to being lazy af. His final half of college basketball couldn’t have possibly been more ass.

I always thought he wasn't all that plus the attitude, I'm sure KU fans are glad he's gone

Self is probably wishing he had went in another direction.

He definitely sucked in the 2nd half vs Arkansas, but he'd been averaging 24 and 12 for several weeks leading up to that game. I don't think he's among Self's biggest regrets. Right now, Self is probably regretting his loyalty to Harris and Adams. Could've had Javon Small and McNeely, among others.

He's also regretting the investment in Storr, who apparently turned out to be a shithead.

Who does KU have returning (potentially) next year other than Bidunga?

Juwan Howard was able to ride him to an Elite 8
I didn't see as much of him once he left the conference, but he definitely seemed to lose his competitive edge as his career went on.

Like the version of him that came out against Luka Garza when he was a frosh seems like a different dude than what you saw against Jonas freaking Aidoo last week. Given that was also like a decade ago.

Not much. Elmarko Jackson, who was injured before the start of the season, freshman Passmore, McDowell (red-shirted). Probably a less than 50% chance that Griffen comes back.

I think they're looking for three starters from the portal to go with Peterson and Bidunga.

Is Bidunga confirmed to be staying put?

Dudes a freak.

I agree with you. I got the vibe he has just been going through the motions. He really plateaued.

I'm still upset he cooked TN as a sophomore but TN's team other than Kennedy Chandler shit the bed too. I still hold a grudge against those guys for that loss. It's one of the few "bad" losses Barnes has had at TN

Lorenzo Romar woul like a word.

I actually saw Lorenzo Romar in Eugene at Five Guys once. He was recruiting MJ Cage who had recently transferred from Oregon. At that time, he was just named the coach at Pepperdine.

He brought some major talent into UW. Brandon Roy, Isaiah Thomas, Nate Robinson, Terrence Ross, Matisse Thybulle, Dejounte Murray, Markelle Fultz.

He brought super elite talent. No doubt. And he turned it into some epic NIT teams.
