Well before that happened all they had to do was convert on 4th and 1 and they likely would've had the game won. They had been dominating the line of scrimmage the entire 2nd half and ultimately decided to punt after trying to draw UK offsides. The rest was history. That happens all the time yet coaches still let their balls shrivel up and get conservative.I see Iowa still hasn’t learned that you should double team a really good wide receiver.
Plus they should have just gone with the sneak on 3rd and 1Well before that happened all they had to do was convert on 4th and 1 and they likely would've had the game won. Fullback dive. 60% of the time it works every time.Plus they should have just gone with the sneak on 3rd and 1
...wishful thinking?Stoops about to have a heat stroke out there after that pick.
Bro, the game was like 4 days go. Stay on task my guy!...wishful thinking?
I just wish that Iowa could have faced our normal defense. UK was missing a boat load of players on defense and offense.Well before that happened all they had to do was convert on 4th and 1 and they likely would've had the game won. Agreed, but every bowl team is missing players for one reason or another (mostly opt-outs and covid). Iowa was without their 1100+ yard rusher, who had been the majority of their offense this year. I believe I read that LSU is playing their bowl game tonight with 39 scholarship players.I just wish that Iowa could have faced our normal defense. Iowa dominated the line all day.

.....yeah, late to the party, I guess.Bro, the game was like 4 days go. Stay on task my guy!
I took K-State -7 last night.....and without an actual QB.
good call.I took K-State -7 last night.
So Iowa was missing more players than Kentucky. I did not know that.Agreed, but every bowl team is missing players for one reason or another (mostly opt-outs and covid). That isn't what I said.So Iowa was missing more players than Kentucky. I did not know that.
Comprehension old man.So Iowa was missing more players than Kentucky. I did not know that.
Hey, Bert. How you been?I just wish that Iowa could have faced our normal defense. UK was missing a boat load of players on defense and offense.
Iowa dominated the line all day.
I am in good shape for the shape that I am in!Hey, Bert. How you been?
Transferring as a walk-on. Maybe he can push for the starting gig in a couple years.Former Iowa QB Deuce Hogan transfers to UK.
He was highly recruited and is suppose to be a good one.

He was my hope for being the starter. I thought we would make the playoffs with him in a few years but he has moxy and might throw picks.
Iowas coaching staff hates, and I mean hates turnovers.
I think this is a great pick up for UK
I was pretty impressed with yalls team except for the QB. He was a potato. This dude that much worse?

It looks like that's exactly why he left.
This is why he transferred. Joking or not that is a pretty F-ed up thing to say. If Hogan is worse than Petras though, woof. That dude couldn't throw it in the ocean from 10 yards away.

This is from his Mom.
“Deuce did not leave Iowa because of playing time… The head coach slandered him in a press conference,” she wrote in a Facebook post. “Very out of character for the coach… he was trying to be funny… unfortunately, there was no backtracking on his mistake. He has since apologized to Deuce, the team, and the media. But Deuce cannot play for him… and everyone in the facility understands why.”
I can't imagine running a team and having to manage parents egos as well. I think that goes overlooked on how difficult that must be. Especially in football. Not to be a dick but...........how long do you think mom twitters in the SEC go?
SEC is the real deal.

Yeah, he had receivers streaking all over the field with no defenders within 10-15 yards and he was firing duds left and right. Passes that were so far off the receivers didn't even have a chance to make a play. 😆I know Kentucky was missing a lot but woof if their QB was even average they would have run away with the game. Kentucky had 2 good drives the entire game. Feel like that QB missed half a dozen wide open guys.
