Insects/Pest?

I've never had a probably with either. However, I came home today and found a bunch of tiny ants on the wall next to my desk. 20+

I've looked around and can't find a single thing they'd be attracted to and have never had any problem.

1)Any idea on what it maybe? 2) how to make sure this doesn't happen again, and 3) do you guys have any problems?

We've been here for a while and my wife keeps a cat. Out of 10+ years of being here, we've saw one dead mouse. Of course we get misquotesI can't stand ants so this is why I bring it up.

We bought a house and within the first we killed probably 10 house centipedes. Google them. Disgusting.

I spray my perimeter with Ortho Home Defense now and run my basement dehumidifier to 45% humidity and haven’t had a problem since.

i went and got some Borax and dusted the entire down stairs. Let it set, vacuumed it up. Also got some stuff as @hailtoyourvictor suggest and sprayed all around the outside. No army of ants humming "ride of the Valkyries" today as they shock and awe my wall.
