First team out in a year UK is complete dog shit. Hope someone gets Covid?

Forget UK, it’s Pitino getting love from everyone for getting in, while we are staring down the ncaas barrel for multiple scandals that went down under his watch.

But yea honestly, rocky card is right, we wouldn’t have beaten anyone with a pulse anyways unless we had got in one of the 11-11 games maybe.

Rick pitino is a top 2-3 coach of all time. Dude is probably the only other coach that approaches Pearl type love from me.

The expectations were low coming into this season, so it’s not that surprising tbh. Add that with two different month long breaks, and our starting center being out a majority of the year. It is what it is.

After looking at the at large bids further, how the **** did Wichita St get in? Again, we weren’t deserving, but Wichita St?

damn you Borden I had almost finally forgotten moe wagners ugly ass dominating us smdh. Murphy from minn might have don’t it worse the last time we made the tourney.

Man he was good for us in the days, and I wish he would have stayed, but his arrogance is unbelievable, he has got to have some form of narcissism. ;)
Yeah, I always wonder what he would’ve racked up at UK? Was crushed when he left. If he had resurfaced anywhere else, most UK fans probably could’ve accepted, maybe even found a way to get him back.

Hopes are not lost yet for Louisville, if one of KU or Virginia drops out, they will not only get in but also receive a 3/4 seed. And then the Louisville fans will be like 'look whos laughing now'.

We would only be around for one game. I hope that the tournament stays Covid free.

I think its a pattern...

Last thee UL wins over UK..

2020----Both miss the NCAAT
2017---UL loses in 2nd round
2013---UK goes to NIT...UL wins it all

Also in BCG's two seasons(UL wins), UK went out 1st round, and lost in the NIT.

you left out the outlier.

I thiought you guys were in once Cincy lost....Certainly thought so over Utah St, Drake....

Which is.................? Just saying when UL has beaten UK, it hasn't always been good to, or for them.
You put UL losing in the second round in 2017 so I thought you were implying when we actually beat them we both struggled. But 2013 we won it all while they went to the NIT. An outlier to the pattern.

I guess we can talk about asterisks and vacations if you want, but we won the games, and cut down the nets. I watched, it happened.

Ahhhh---No, the opposite. I was implying each time UL beat them, UK wasn't very good, OR, things went sideways for UL, i.e. losing in second round, missing NCAAT, sanctions, etc, etc...

My brother is a huge UK fan. He pointed this out. You can thank him

Right but things didn’t go sideways in 2013. We won it all.

It went sideways a couple years later when the book dropped.

2013 was an amazing sports year for Louisville fans. Football team stomped #3 Florida in sugar bowl, women’s basketball made final four, men’s team won it all, baseball team made it to Omaha. But weren’t even close in the cup thing that Stanford or UCLA always seem to win lol.

Just been a shit show ever since smdh, well except for Lamar and the women’s team and baseball teams have had success but no trophy’s except a heisman.

Edit: my reading comprehension is embarrasing, just in the original post u listed the years we beat UK and then Either us or uk or both struggling beside the year.

But yea the only time we’ve beat them recently when they had the better team was when we beat the fox/monk/bam team.

Louisville was 1-6 in quad 1 games. Wichita was 2-3 and they beat Houston.

I mean I get it, and the Houston win is much better than any we had. I didn’t know they had any big win like that.

I just think the quad 1 stuff is trash. Beating a top 5 team at home is equivalent to beating the 75th ranked team on the road. I mean I get home court matters but that much???

And I don’t like that it doesn’t take into account how a team is playing when u beat them, just where they end up. Like we beat duke @ duke when they were playing really well, but that’s not a quad 1 bc they played like shit early in conf play and I guess arent a top 75 team although they were lingering around the bubble. I think they should do it based on what you do against tourney teams instead of this NET top 30 or 75 on the road.

We were 6-0 against quad 2 teams. He’ll I don’t even know who our quad 1 win is. It’s GT or VT one. We beat VT when they were ranked 17th but now obv theyve slid and GT won the accT, but had those two atrocious losses to start the season.

But again not like we would have done ish if we made it anyways.

Dam I’m an idiot. I had more of a problem with vcu getting in over us than Wichita. I went and looked at wich schedule after you pointed out their win vs Houston and they def have a better resume than us. Better record better wins. Same colors and bout the same seed as vcu had me confused.

But VCU with 7 losses, 2 wins vs tourney teams in Utah state and st Bonny, both at home. But ours ain’t really any better than theirs either, with just beating GT and VT both at home as our best wins.

just homerism and saltiness i guess
