My HS game was shit. I kept trying to f8ck girls,when looking back they were ok with head and hand jobs. Ended up with nothing because I was trying to f8ck them.

Oh I was boning. Finger f***ing just sounded funnier to type lol. There was one chick I regret not making on. She was so intimidating.

Wish I would've stayed in sports though. I didn't make good decisions in high school, but still had a great time. Somehow managed a 3.9 gpa without paying much attention, smoking, drinking, chasing girls... I have no clue how. The schoolwork just came easy.

Memphis is awesome. Everything (outside of a few neighborhoods) is great. Just stay away from the north and south sides, also the west and short east. also stay away from the far southeast...and the northeast.

even my wife, who was a snowflake in kentucky, hardened up real quick dealing with kids down here.

It's still a fun city. food is second to none and nightlife is off the charts. Just don't go a messin where you don't need to be messin around.

Back to the OP. I took an asfab test in HS (is it called asfab?), I got a lot of calls after that. Texas Tech sent a guy to my kitchen. I was already working on my grandpa's dealership, wasn't interested. Berea College and a few others came to see me. TT was also interested in my drafting/CAD skills. I said thanks but no thanks to all of them, it was probably a mistake. I was a 16 year old senior who finally broke through the chastity belt of my girlfriend. I had a job and a piece of ass and wan't going to leave them.

...only to leave them and state 3 years later. I'm not very bright.

Yup. Ran at UNCG, which doesn't really say much. We're not a powerhouse. But hey, we do have Paul Chelimo, who is the fastest 5,000 meter runner in America.

So you ran somewhere in between 02-07, right? A few more NC State runners that I've had interactions with that might fit that time period are Jesse Rhodenbaugh, John Henderson, Nick Hutchins, Jason Morgan, Josie Lauber, and Caroline Kirby. I know, I know. I don't know any of your sprinters or jumpers. Did Manny Lawson run with you guys? That dude was a beast in high school. Didn't know him, personally. But he wowed just about everyone who saw him compete.

I know all those people except Jason Morgan. Manny did run. Talk about a freak show. He ran on our 4x100 team at ACCs I want to say...my sophomore year? I handed to Brian Clark (wide receiver, 3rd round pick of the Jets) and then Manny ran anchor. It’s just silly to see a guy his size run that fast.
 
I got a few letters from D2/D3 schools for soccer but was never recruited.

I had offers from a couple NAIA schools for football/basketball/baseball. Couple CC offers for baseball.....was not interested. Went to KU instead and did the b-ball practice squad tryouts twice. Never got selected but made a few a cuts. You basically just scrimmage while coaches watch. Then they tell people to stay or go.

I was kind of a late bloomer. I probably wasn’t on anybody’s radar until the end of my Junior Year. Even going into my senior year I was only getting recruited by schools like Drury, SW Missouri State and New Mexico. I had a really good meet in December and then some huge meets in the late winter. I ended up taking trips to Iowa State, Kansas and then Nebraska. The last 3-4 months of high school I was getting a bundle of recruitment letters at school and I’d get 3-5 phone calls from coaches weekly. I even got a letter from Eddie Reese and Texas which is the equivalent to K and Duke. He saw me beat one of his recruits at a regional meet so I’ve always figured that had to have been why I was put on his radar. It was a pretty fun time in my life.

I ran track and field and cross country (top 20 team) at Indiana. I had a final 5 that had Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Princeton, and Georgetown in it. I really wanted to go to Stanford, but they never offered. My younger brother was a track national champ at Arkansas.

Also had a chance to play DII basketball but was a much better runner and and I'm only 5'8".

For me---I was recruited mostly by mid-majors for baseball. Offered a preferred walk-on by some. A lot of NAIA interest. And some D2. I ended up at USI(D2 school). Got hurt as a frosh....Hurt again as a soph. Left baseball.
 
I was very lightly recruited for track and field (a few D-3 coaches emailed me about me attending). I didn't want to make my college decision based on track, especially considering there was no scholarship money coming in.
