Good Lord, what poor asshole gets UNC in the next round?

They are better analytically than every other bubble team as well.

I know they didn't have a quad 3 loss but figured one loss wasn't that relevant but I see your point. And I actually agree with the tournament team wins but didn't think that was a measure the committee considered since they use the Quad system. I don't consider the injury stuff. If that's the case we can say UNC was a different team once their coach started playing a competent lineup, no? But, I do agree there are always arguments to be made, which actually proves my point that all of the anger and indignation is more posturing by people who dislike UNC than anything else because those people are flat out saying there is no argument to be made for UNC.
The quad system is dumb. That being said it urks me a bit because they use it when they want to, yet ignore it in other cases. IMO all these extra metrics are there for them to use how they choose.

In a way I was a bit relieved that the committee went against what the media had been pushing. Not because I think UNC deserved it, bc I will always be pulling for the team that rarely makes the tournament (UNC will make many tourneys in the future lmao). I like that they disagreed with something that had been pushed down our throats though. Maybe they should have gone against the SEC craze and left Texas out as well.

The Q1 system and IMO the NET need to be replaced with a more trusted formula. BPI should be scrapped as well.
