Did they? I actually think Kia’s look pretty sharp but I’ve always been very wary. May have to give them a look
Wife drives one, it's her 2nd. It's not as nice as Depaul's but still gets 45 mpg (forte), and is cheap enough to drive it til the wheels fall off, get out put them back on and drive another 100k. Last one had 250k on it until the tornado claimed it. Probably would still be driving it today. 25k miles a year.
I'm in the nice suburbs about 25 miles north of Chicago. No bump in premiums.
Love my sorento. It rates as the top car in that mid level of price point. All reviews say it is way more luxurious than you would ever expect. I got one of those really cool new shades of color that's been hip for the past few years. It's like a muted brown grey. Looks very sharp.
We thought about other cars, all of them after the tornado.. She likes KiA. Did the same as above and wrote a check.
As far as holding value is up to debate, but it's a disposable car. She'll drive it until she's done with it or just quits working. The latter usually happens. She's tighter than tree bark. She put lazer floor mats in to cover up the plastic on the floorboards. Same with the seat covers. We take those two things off and it's brand new.
