You two clearly just don't understand the matrix.

You realize he is only half Hawkeye? The other half is UK and hitting that hive will bring a swarm down on you. 😲
That other half already knows they are dogshit, no need to let them know

The reason why UT is not ranked is because of a deja vu on the matrix. I'm sure he fix the glitch.

Yeppers, UT at #2. I knew the matrix had glitched. Glad you got it fixed.

I hate explaining because it breaks the sense of mystery and wonder and hilarity but..

the thing from that other thread is actually trying to be "right" (i.e. predictive of future games) and is something akin to Torvik/Kenpom.

What I post here is something I made for fun a long time ago and basically tries to produce rankings that are similar to what a human would do (and I think do a decent job later in the year with more data). I basically just phase out any preseason weight super early though (after 5 games) because it is entertaining to me to watch teams bounce around until equilibrium is reached.

First of all, I think it is fun that you make it. Secondly, I don't understand it and don't want to. I wasn't complaining in the least. I was just having fun with Hawkit getting so worked up about it.

My poll always has UT at #1 and UK #25. The only reason UK is as high as #25 is so you see them at the bottom. 😆

Your poll may be more accurate, but mine is more pleasing.

The only poll that matters.

I like that he just comes here, posts his update, and then disappears until next time. Definitely adds to it.
His threads are just as great as his polls.

This is what his 5th or 6th season doing this? I know it's been a while.
