He's a microwave scorer. He'd probably average 16+ ppg with starter minutes. We already have a top 5 offense, so his offensive production isn't always needed. If we're struggling to make buckets, he's a nice asset to have off the bench.
He'd see more time on the court if he were a more well-rounded player. Not a great rebounder or facilitator. He's an okay defender, but I'd put him behind our other guards in terms of his overall defense. He also really struggles on closeouts and fighting through screens. There was one game, it may have been the Auburn game, where he was egregiously slow at fighting through screens.
He has 32 3PM on the season. And he's 5th on the team in scoring. It's not like it was Spike Albrecht going off for 17 points in the national title game against Louisville. That came out of nowhere. Everyone knows Evans can go off at anytime.
