Duke loses to unranked OSU and falls 2 spots. Purdue loses and falls 4. Duke hasn’t played in 2 weeks. Their best win is an overrated Gonzaga. It’s early abs rankings matter not all that much. But they do count for tournament seeding.

The obsession continues. Love it.

Even though they won, Purdue had to have a great comeback to take NCST into overtime yesterday. Add that with a loss earlier this week and there you go.

Further, UNC still isn’t in the top 25 with their only losses to Purdue and Tennessee.

3 loss Nova in T10 is really more of an issue. It is probable the votes were made/sent/received prior to their loss on Sunday though.

TN ahead of TT is kind of silly also, since TT beat them on a neutral floor this week.

My favorite part of this thread so far is a poster named afamu calling another fan obsessed.
My favorite part is Virginia fans who have little to no hope for their basketball program moving forward. And they just hired a shitty OC for their football HC.

Duke currently has wins over #5 GU and #21 UK....Only loss is on the raod to #15 OSU..

Purdue has a win over # 9 Villanova.....Only loss was to a 4-4 Rutgers team.

Also, Purdue only dropped 2 spots in the AP poll; #1 to #3.

Duke gets a lot of favor for sure. Even with the schedule the ACC did something this year they said they wouldn't do again with giving everyone else a conference game except Duke. Then they get a week off before they play UNC. I think UNC has three Saturday/Monday turnarounds and Duke one as well. It is probably cyclical, except for getting a week off before your rival maybe. K is kind of the old dude though so I'm sure he gets a lot because of that. Plus, they excel at the social messaging game and are miles ahead of everyone else there so the conference and ESPN and the media tend to fawn over them.

It cuts both ways though as they are probably the most hated team out there. Rightfully so.

How do you know Duke’s schedule better than I do

Lol, I'm just screwing around more than anything else. There are some UNC fans on IC that are big into conspiracies and saw a thread on it there where it was discussed.

Honestly, the polls at this time of year are super dumb anyway. I don't think UNC deserves to be ranked but there is no way if they aren't that a team like Texas should be. UNC's resume kills theirs, which does kind of show that not all big time teams are treated the same perception wise.

God i dont wanna derail this thread but UK seemingly always takes a week off before playing louisville (not like theyve needed it regardless)

UK has got you SHOOK. 😆 They always have long lulls between games this time of year before conference play starts as does everyone else. Has nothing to do with Louisville. The last game they played was last Saturday (Notre Dame) and the next game they play is this Saturday (Ohio State), that's 1 week. Then they play Louisville on Wednesday (4 days later). Then they have another week off before they play Missouri.

Now go take a look at Louisville's schedule from previous years.
2019 - Dec 18 vs Miami (OH), Dec 28 UK (10 days)
2018 - Dec 21 vs Bob Mo, Dec 29 UK (8 days)
2017 - Dec 23 Grand Canyon, Dec 29 UK (6 days)
Etc.
