I think at a certain point it’s okay to factor reputation in. Dickinson lost the benefit of the doubt a long time ago imo. Good ejection. You can’t kick a dude in the head.

Oh yeah, 100%. He's got to knock the antics off though (he won't). You can't put that out there for the refs to determine, college officiating sucks sometimes.
But, KU fans have more to brag about, they won the game without him, which is really impressive considering duke's size on the inside.
I've always believed that if you intentionally kick someone in the head it's an auto ejection regardless of how good a shot you got in.
That is why DePaul is in the position they are in today. We have found that if the other team fears you'll kick them in the head it lowers their aggressiveness and just maintaining the threat of kicking them in the head doesn't require you to actually kick them in the head.
Yeah, you might have to make an example or two, but word gets out quickly.

Well, for starters, UT's staff probably put as much effort (lack of) into scouting him as I did. He's not black. 😂
He was instrumental in beating us in the NCAA while at UM the year we had Kennedy Chandler. We got to know him...
HD is an ass, but he is a damn good college basketball player.

What are you talking about? The Duke player backed up aggressively and undercut Dickinson as he went up for the rebound which is a dangerous play. The foul was called on Brown of Duke for the undercut. Then dead ball foul flagrant 2 was called on Dickinson. The 2 had been overly physically which each other more and more as the game went along especially the 2-3 possessions before that. Something was going to happen between them if the refs didn’t step in. Dickinson definitely meant to strike him in the face. Try hurt him I doubt it but definitely tried to do something to try and continue to get him riled up. Not sure if it was egregious enough to warrant a flagrant 2 but I get the argument of the flagrant 2 especially with his reputation and the ejection. Dickinson at times can be completely brain dead. Many KU fans can’t stand him themselves.
I didn't think it was as bad as everyone else did but only saw the replay a couple of times. Reputation, and who he was playing, probably played a part but I don't really feel bad for him. A Duke guy would have had to do it like three times to ever be punished but considering he is kind of a jerk he deserved it. Dude is good though.
Kicks or punches to the head have to be ejections. Sucks but with todays safety rules that’s just how it is.
If you think a punch is worthy of an ejection, you have to think that was worthy of an ejection.
The question is did he really mean to hit him in the head? Maybe.
If he were smart, he’d have swapped jerseys with Brown. They’d have said “attakid” and welcomed him to the brotherhood.
