Congrats Texas on your upset win over Kansas!!

I said shoot 58%...not score 58 points. 🤣
Well, I figured you were talking about Iowa because we don't typically only score 58 pts in a game........

Also, since you're talking about real conferences, well a real conference wouldn't allow Kansas to win it almost every year, and then let dirty cheating Scott Drew and Baylor be the ones to occasionally dethrone them.

But again lol.......................that kind of stuff doesn't happen in a real conference.

And yet Michigan St wins the Big 10 every year that they're above average. 🤣

And we would stroke Kansas. Their is a reason you won’t bet me.
Stroke what? Their cocks?

No, I won't make a bet about tourney advancement before knowing seeding or matchups. That's idiotic.

It's cute that you have such confidence in a team that struggles every time they leave home. I remember when you were confident that Auburn would be preseason #1 last year too. Good times. 🤣

Auburn hasn’t lost this season in a road game so yeah that’s really struggling. You really don’t realize just how dumb you sound. The ncaa tourney is also not played as a road game ever so not sure why that even matters.

It's not played in whatever the hell Auburn's arena is called either. The only time Auburn looks like an above average team is at home.

Yeah, you've also beaten no one on the road. But you've sure struggled in damn near every one, even against 200ish ranked teams.

You won by 1 against a very very very bad Mizzou team, and almost lost to Georgia...literally one of the worst teams in the country. Auburn is hardly untouchable. Y'all have a high ceiling and are outstanding when you're playing good, but when your jumpers aren't falling or when the refs are calling fouls, you're very pedestrian. I think Auburn has one of the highest ceilings in the country, if not the highest, but your floor is lower than a lot of the teams in the top 10. Auburn could lose to a lot of teams if you have an off night, where as I think a team like Kentucky or Gonzaga are going to be less likely to get upset before the Elite 8.

Auburn is good, but you aren't dominant. Anybody in the top 20 could beat you on a given night, KU included. Bruce's teams have always been the types that are great when the shots are falling, but are prone to struggle when shots inevitably don't fall. His teams don't have the rim protection and staunch defense to pull out tough games when shots aren't falling. But if you get hot, you can definitely ride that into the final four or better. It's really hard to get a gauge Auburn to be honest. Your best win(outside of Kentucky at home) is against an LSU team that was solidly defeated by one of the worst teams in the Big XII, and you have two near defeats on the road to teams that are easily worse than any team in the Big XII.

Have you even watched auburn play this season ? Can’t play defense? Auburn has the likely defensive player of the year in college basketball. Literally the best rim protector in the country

Mizzou and the Fighting Creans by a collective 3 points is the definition of struggling.
As I've said, when Auburn is good, they're REALLY GOOD. When they're bad, they're REALLY BAD. They'd have a couple more losses if they played a tougher road schedule. As it is, they struggle to beat some really really bad teams on the road. Their ceiling is as high as anybody's, but their floor is also lower than a lot of top teams. It will be interesting to see what kind of environment they play against in the tournament. If you get that one seed but your fans don't travel great, it almost feels like playing on the road sometimes. Everybody that isn't a fan of your school will be hoping for the upset and cheering against you when their team isn't playing. They strike me as a team that will come to play and be focused if they get an opponent their players can be hyped up for, but might have an off night and get upset if they play some mid-level school, like a good small school that might be underrated, or a borderline top 25 team from a bigger conference that is sitting on that 4 or 5 seed line.

Yeah you haven’t paid attention to auburn ar all this season. You are going on pre conceived notions from prior years with auburn and Bruce. Literally seem to be Pretty clueless on this years team

He's good, but not much outside of him. Overall your defensive effort is good, but it isn't great. I've seen a few games. When you play with intensity you play some pretty good defense, but you take some possessions off and lose focus at times.

Yeah just stop posting about Auburn. This is just a terrible take. We have one loss this season. In double OT. But yeah our defense isn’t good. Even though we have 7 quad 1 wins and 5 more quad 2 wins.

Since 2002 (20 seasons ago), seven other teams have won the Big Ten at least once besides MSU, including Maryland. Michigan State also only has 2 outright titles in that time frame.

Ohio State has the most BTT titles in that same time frame as well.

Kansas, meanwhile has 13 outright titles since 2002, and 8 CT titles. 19 total regular season titles since the Big 12's inception.

The next closest team has 3...............

#fake conference

That's nice. In this millennium, 7 other programs have won the Big 12 too.

I don't think fake conferences would put a representative in the final four in 4 of the last 5 tourneys (four separate programs). Plus two final four favorites in the Covid year.

As for Mich St....have they had a top 10ish team that didn't win the Big 10? Looks like 2016 might be the only one. Then again, that team was bounced in the first round by a 15 seed, so they were probably overrated. If Mich St were as consistent as KU, they'd have a similar number of league titles. It's that simple, my friend.

Let me remind you...Billy Self won the league title in two of his three years in the Big 10. Same as his first three years at KU. He was well on his way to bitch-slapping that league too.😁

Fun fact: every team that's finished higher than KU since Self arrived went to the Final Four (except co-champ K-State in '19). Two of them played in the title game, and of course Baylor won it all.

Bwahahahahaha! How did that Auburn game go for you? Arkansas? Really? Was I not just saying you guys are bad on the road? That stout defense gave up 80 to a team that lost by 22 to a lower-end Big XII team.

Things sure are different when you’ve got a bullseye on your back, aren’t they?

That's nice. In this millennium, 7 other programs have won the Big 12 too. (Except it's a little more spread out in the non-fake Big Ten: Kansas State- 2, Texas- 2 Iowa State- 1, Oklahoma- 1, Oklahoma State- 1, Texas Tech- 1, Baylor- 1)

Also, there's only 4 teams that meet that ridiculous set of requirements for that factoid, or at least given your definitionof finishing higher than Kansas............:

2004 Ok State- Final 4 (lost to Georgia Tech, who got blown out in the NCG)

2006 Texas- Elite 8

2019 Texas Tech- National Runner-up (most random assortment of teams in the Final Four in tournament history.......)

2021 Baylor- National Champions (maybe the weakest field in recent tourney history, highlighted by the semi-pro Euro Ball roster of Gonzaga failing to go undefeated in the Finals against Baylor who just happened to get hot late in the tourney after some easy tune up games in the first few rounds. The same team that got throttled by Oklahoma State in the Big 12 tourney.)

two things: Tech had that 2019 game won. Up 3 with 20 seconds. Jarrett Culver made a bonehead defensive move or that game is over. That was after blowing the brakes off of big 10 champ Sparty.

And….baylor easy tune up?!??? LOL! Here is the breakdown …easiest field? Lol again.

big 10 #6 Wisco
big east champs nova
Sec champs Arkansas
American champs Houston
“Best team of all time” zags

….and you left out the 2020 AP national champs KU.

Thought the Texas win would have been enough to get the sheriff out of retirement. Thankfully I was wrong.

Lotta fake news in that post of yours........

Not even half factual. ;)
Ah, you like facts?

Here’s a few that relate to your previous post: the “weakest field in recent tourney history” just happened to include the team with the 2nd-highest Kenpom rating ever, which they maintained even AFTER getting slaughtered by Baylor.

And the “most random assortment of final four teams in history” included a team that’s appeared in over one third of the final fours since the late 90s (oh, and Tech beat them) and a Virginia program that had ruled the ACC for years. Hell, even Tech reached the elite 8 the year before and may have gone further if not for meeting one of the most dominant teams in recent memory.

No, I don’t think you like facts much.😆

Also…nothing ridiculous about that set of requirements regarding teams that finished higher than KU. It shows that it took a really good team to surpass KU during that run.
