Feels good to have a coach who puts his player’s well-being ahead of another probable title run. The saddest part is that it’s newsworthy.

Pro sports and college sports playing or not playing have virtually no impact on what is going on in this country during the pandemic. If they stop playing it will have no effect on what we see in the ER.
They are so isolated from the rest of the community and have virtually no impact on the rest of the community.

For years K has been excoriated for limiting his team’s pre-conference road games to eliminate unnecessary travel and risk during flu season. But yes, this is totally new behavior.

Actually, Illinois didn’t play anywhere close to their potential. 18 turnovers, Kofi had an off game again, free throws weren’t great, got beat on the offensive glass. Illinois could have won by 25.
