Auburn has to be a 2 seed at this point

Conference pride forever stupid. Even worse in football tbh.
I see nothing wrong with being proud of your team for playing in a tough conference.
Seeing teams you beat go out and spank good teams from other conferences makes your teams wins look even better.

That's fine. I'm not hating on Florida and if they end up with the number one overall over Duke. There is certainly justification for that. But Duke is not going to lose a one seed. They have not played their way out of it by any means. They can't help how bad their conference is. So the best thing they can do is win the games they're supposed to in the manner that they're supposed to. And for the most part, they have.

Duke is a lock for a #1 seed, but I don't think their resume can compete with Auburn or Florida (with a win today) for the overall #1 seed.

You're right that Duke can't control how weak the ACC was this year, and the only thing they can do is win the games in front of them. But you know who else can say the same? Louisville. The Cardinals went 21-1 against non-Duke ACC teams. 21-1. However, they went 0-4 against the four SEC teams they faced. I watched Louisville play against Duke yesterday, and if that team went 21-1 in the ACC against everyone except Duke, it really highlights how down the conference is this year.

If UF wins...

1. Florida
2. Auburn
3. Duke
4. Houston

If UF loses...

1. Auburn
2. Duke
3. Houston
4. Florida

Either way, I believe Florida is the most complete team I've seen this year. I'd rank Duke second, ahead of Auburn, assuming Flagg is 100%. I am just unsure on the Blue Devils because of the schedule.

This is what teams that have no shot at winning a title do. It's like Mississippi State bragging about SEC football because Alabama was dominant for years. I personally don't give a shit except when you all jerk each other off all year then shit the bed in the tournament, then it becomes very funny.

SEC championship has 0 effect on how teams will be seeded because you play on Sunday so this is incorrect, however it really doesn't matter how the 1 seeds are ranked just that they are 1 seeds.

Are you going to feel good about Kentucky losing in the tournament? Some of you like yourself are really showing how cowardly you are by hiding behind the football schools. Yeah you beat Duke and its freshmen 4 months ago, they’d beat you worse than Bama did now. Good luck with your 14 teams that’ll be playing in the tournament. Lol

/Shrug Under Cal our best years came when the SEC was almost as bad as the ACC was this year. I like the SEC being good because it means we get good ball all year. But the other teams, I hate all of em. These are the same teams that have hated on Kentucky for decades.

This is some hypocritical bullshit though. You are hiding behind Duke too. They just kicked your ass without their best player lmao.

I remember UK fans saying "we can't control the fact that the SEC sucks, we can only play the teams on the schedule", that didn’t go so well on here, heck, they still talk about how weak the SEC used to he.

So, in this post, you are throwing the SEC's failures in the NCAAT in my face, then you guys wonder why we defend the conference. This is the exact reason right here.

I don’t give a **** about Duke, but guys like Jeffrey make me want every SEC team to bomb out early. He is fine losing big as long as it’s another SEC team. That’s just Weird to me.

I agree, I am saying that is how I would have it just purely looking at the resume. I think it is incredibly lazy to not consider a game as big as UF vs UT, but that is the flawed system we have.

Has the SEC ever been as weak as the ACC this year? The ACC--outside of Duke--is incredibly down. It is almost like 80% of the talent in the ACC just left for the SEC.

lol, your team loses a game a week, that’s why you are so fond of the bigger schools in your conference, just like you are in football.

As a Florida fan, part of me hopes this happens. I think making Florida a #2 seed in Duke or Houston's region would be incredibly helpful. A loss would also go a long way in keeping the rat poison away.

If UK wins 2 games in the tournament, Ihll be happy. Losing Kerr and Robinson and only having Butler at 80% has cut our ceiling down, but I'm proud of what Pope has done. He won some big games and proved he's got what it takes to coach at UK.

Duke is a great team and Clemson and UL are very good teams. No one can be great all the time, what does it matter?

Louisiville is 0-4 against the SEC, maybe you're the wrong guy to be talking about how UK did against SEC competition.

You do that to yourself, nothing I have said has made you hate the SEC anymore than you already did.
You are obsessed with everytbing UK. You even admitted reading Rupp Rafters daily. Who does that? Obsessed people do that and that’s what you are.

No and they all hate it. Look how defensive they all are in this thread while trying to act like they aren't all conference honkers. Every one of them.

Y'all have had a great season and have a great team. You deserve all the accolades you receive. However, don't you think Todd Golden looks like a toddler? Everytime I see him, I imagine him wearing one piece blue and orange footed pajamas with sleepy eyes on Christmas morning looking under the Christmas tree.

I realize Barnes looks like the Prime minister of Finland or some other Northern European country, so I do not have much room to talk.

You don’t know how to act with the SEC being good, please go back in the archives and find us doing what you’re doing, which is slobbering over your conference foes strength.

Why would you be satisfied with only two tournament wins for Kentucky? Are you sure that Kentucky will be better next year? If so, please explain.

Eh, duke, unc and ku definitely played in tougher conferences overall, but those conferences had down years too.

The SEC was very good in the 90's and there were times in the 2000's where it was very good too.

You still have to prove it in the tournament though and UK did that many times.

He seems like a handsome man. He has a great hairline. I've been paying more attention to other men's hairlines over the past few years, as I'm trying to maintain mine. He is also in good shape, but he just needs to stay away from college coeds.

Last season the committee put 8 SEC teams in, 5 lost their first game and only one of those was to a lower seed.

Because UK is going to be a 3 or 4 seed, after 2 wins, they are going to have to play a 1 or a 2 and when you look at the teams on those seed lines, it's hard for me to see UK beating any of those teams without a fully healthy roster.

It's a good first year, I'll take it.

Okay, cool. What's your point?

You're working so hard to shit on the sec while trying to convince everyone you arent obsessed with UK and also trying to act like you arent a conference honker.

Again, you're working very hard and I really want you to be rewarded for your efforts, so tell me what you want to hear.

Do you really think Kentucky looks like a 3 seeded team?

What's even more hilarious, is all the fans from the acc acting like they aren't fans of the acc, but defend it to the death and go on the attack against fans of teams from the sec for talking about how strong the conference is. Y'all did exactly what you’re getting mad at us for.

"But, but, but, y'all played in a sucky sec for many years blah, blah, blah".

The acc is historically bad, I don't recall the sec ever being this bad. Just own it, we had to.
Ironically the SEC was extremely horrible in 2013-2014 as a whole. Also that year Florida and Kentucky both made the final 4. Just saying.

Yeah, how many teams have the wins UK has?

Who on the 4 or 5 lines would you replace them with?

Be careful what teams you list, all of them have warts.

Why are you so obsessed with UK?

Because I get a kick out of people who like to talk down to others, when in fact they are hiding behind others.
