Just because you personally keep saying it is a bad comparison doesn't make it true. You have cornered yourself into a position that you can't get yourself out of.
You constantly trumpet that recent success is all that matters, yet when it is flipped on you to KU and UConn, you have no defense. None.
And few, if any, football experts would rank KC over Chicago all time.
Nobody said anything about "greatest", that wasn't the conversation, but surprise, surprise, you twisted the question.
So, let's recap:
1) You said the Bears are a has-been franchise, because most if their success happened so long ago. KC Chiefs are better, because their success is more recent.
2) you defend Helms banners, which happened in the 20's, 30's and 40's and are titles that were awarded via voting
3) you reversed your take when it came to picking between KU and UConn, because KU's history is better.
Like, this is real, you actually did this and the best part for me is, you're doing it to others and finally, someone else is getting a front row seat at what you do every day on here.

I don't have to step away from anything. UConn's had more success in recent years than KU. I'm man enough to admit that. And I'd probably trade the last 20+ years for theirs, inconsistency and all.

You painted yourself into a corner by claiming that UConn "blows KU out of the water" in terms of recent success. They blow KU away in titles over the last quarter century, but in nothing else. Obviously you're defining success by national titles only.
So, once again: By the logic you're using, UCLA is the greatest college basketball program, and it isn't close. Is that what you believe?

Yeah, I am hard headed enough to go back and forth with him far too often, that's probably the Northeast/Italian in me, but I need to adjust that for sure.
One thing that isn't debatable is, he does this in every thread he posts in. He rarely posts on topic, it's always some troll job.
