One of the greatest parts of being a Real UCFan is seeing our program Rise to Prominence in Basketball and Rise to Dominance in UCFootball. The old program tshirt bandwagoners will never get to see that happen because it only happens once.

And 2nd best part is, my impact and influence is UCFelt across the program. I don't just go to practices and have meals with the coaches. I make an impact and direct contribution to the program while doing those UCFun things.

It's truly magical being a Real UCFan. Nothing in the world is better.

To be fair, I guess it would be exciting watching a birth. My program has old man balls and been pulling wool since the early-mid 1900's. We were winning championships prior to tshirts.

What's your thoughts on Penny and Memphis?

I've been very following the Penny story since he was Magical in Orlando and when he was assistant coach for that 8th grade team.

For UCF, I'm worried about what Penny will do with the Memphis Tigers. I mean we have UCFinally been consistently beating them. It wasn't long ago, less than 10 years ago when I stormed the court when we beat Memphis for the UCFirst time.

I truly think Memphis will reach heights they have never seen before, all under Penny. He is that type of game changer.

I live in Memphis and the program is at a fever pitch right now with a hometown hero running the show. Hardaway returned to Memphis after his retirement and got involved in the city both philanthropically and through the grassroots basketball scene. He had a huge hand in the Gameday Sports Park in Cordova, not to mention Hardaway has provided Thanksgiving baskets for those in his Binghampton neighborhood every year, he's joined with local churches in buying $1 million health care discount cards to help people with prescriptions, donated $1 million to his alma mater to build the sports hall of fame on campus--it even bears his name.

Dude is a living legend here, and if he can just recruit Memphis he should be ok. But....can' he and Miller coach? We know he can coach Middle, High school and AAU, but...

Edit: With that said, there's zero doubt he's getting top player Wiseman. What he does with him will be reality soon.
