They were as physical as we were, they reached in and went over the back as much as we did, they bumped and pushed as much, fouls should have been much more equal.
I don't want to ever be accused of coming to the defense of little sister, but NCSt coughed the ball up 8 more times (3 TO in the last 3 minutes of the game) on the road and ten of the free throws for the Cards were while the Pack were trying to fight back late.

Pretty sure it is a known stat that every team that plays them shoots way more free throws than them
Lots of offensive fouls on NCST or at least it seemed like it. I didn't see NCST players complaining. Contesting inside shots and fouling, some reach ins, and fouling late. Both teams seemed to shoot close to the same amount of 3 pters. That's the only thing that kept NCST, well and offensive rebounds, that kept them in the game.

So true. I always get a chuckle out of people who elude to some sort of impropriety with the refs towards one team or another when there is a discrepancy in foul shots. There are so many variable that go into it and it also shows a whole bunch of ignorance on the person bringing it up. Whatever happened to good old fashioned owning up to sub par play?
It’s been this way every conference game we’ve played. We don’t shoot any more threes than anyone else.
Hell, look at the box score, NC State fouled a lot.

I like NC State, and you guys have a hell of a squad, but in no way should you have won that game last night. You out rebounded us, but we were better in almost every category. You don’t win many games with 20+ turnovers. Just sayin’.

It’s hard to get a fair whistle in that place. Idk if you play them at home, NC St fan, but if you do I would expect a more fair whistle there

Yeah, I feel someone constantly complaining about being jobbed takes is more seriously than the people he claims have an issue taking it too seriously.
Then again, their head coach and AD are both whining about officiating so some State fans can't help themselves. #wolfpackjustice

You need to recognize who you're dealing with. NC State sucks because of Swofford, the refs were against them and UNC had something to do with it. That's their fan base in a nutshell and you wonder why in 27 years they haven't won a conference title in anything.
That is because North Carolina and the power they have has set the deck against State. It has been going on for hundreds of years.
