***2024-25 Pick'Em Week 7***

Congrats to @mikeinknoxville on an impressive 17 point week! 12 of the 18 posters had 5 points or less - Mike is putting a gap on us now with a double-digit lead! Those Mountain West conference games were rough for most of us.

Games won't be getting any easier - but, hopefully some of us will have better luck this week. And we'll also have our first double-points week sometime in January.

Week 9 Games
Wednesday: UNC at Louisville
Friday: Michigan State at Ohio State
Friday: Xavier at Georgetown
Saturday: Florida at Kentucky
Saturday: UCLA at Nebraska
Saturday: San Diego State at Boise State

Utah State made most of us look bad this past week. Impressive win for them. Utah State is 12-1 with road wins against SDSU and Saint Mary's - and a neutral court win over Iowa. Wild that Jerrod Calhoun is their 4th head coach in the past 5 seasons. Somehow that program finds a way to keep on winning despite major continuity issues. Prior 3 coaches are now at Washington, VCU, and Utah.

I looked at my score and had to go check because I thought there was no way Utah St. won that game. What a terrible week for almost everyone.

I think this is the worst I've ever done, both weekly and season wise. I got zero points and actually picked all 6 games. FML

I thought San Diego State at home was a fairly safe 6-point pick. Utah State has definitely exceeded my expectations this year.

I struggled with what games to include this past week; there was serious slim-pickings. Glad we got to have a couple of close MWC games. I'll take that over UC Riverside / St. Thomas (that was seriously my next option).

Yeah, the way UNC has been playing, I thought taking UL was easy money. The Cards have been playing well.
Seems like they figured out how to overcome being short handed.

You know that you don’t need to sacrifice 4 points for a reverse jinx…..don’t you?

I would much rather have Louisville win than me earn 21 points in the weekly Pick'Em. Great win for Louisville. If Kasean Pryor wasn't out for the season, I would really like this Louisville team as a fringe top 25 team.

Good chance Louisville and UNC are both bubble teams this year.

Winning on the road is hard. Historically, I believe the home team wins around two out of every three games. Not a bad loss for UNC. It will likely end as a Quad 1 game. Unfortunately for them, they don't have too many Q1 games left in ACC play.
