2024-25 Clown Team Thread

We had a rough 2nd half, and we played like shit with the iso ball. Still not concerned about this team, but we gotta finish game strong, especially in the second half on the road.

He missed many games for them that regular season, correct? Just saying good thing he was healthy for March Madness that year obviously.

Crazy how some KU fans are turning on Self…

From what I’ve seen Self insists on playing Dickinson, Adams and Harris together especially in key moments. It’s a terrible lineup.

Harris is the least clutch pg for a 5th yr senior I’ve ever seen and KJ Adams is athletic but just not a good basketball player. The first half rotation vs Baylor was excellent and self completely abandoned that in the second half.

Fans are pissed that Bidunga didn’t play much in the 2nd half, but I’m guessing Self wanted someone with better ball handling skills to handle Baylor’s pressure.

The lineups and substitution patterns have been bizarre at times, but the bigger issue is the inconsistency in their focus/effort level. You never know what you’re going to get game to game or half to half.

Lots of clown teams on Saturday.
Raise Hand GIF by Nick Jonas

add Florida to the clown team list.

Y’all need to kick Auburn’s ass and you’ll be good.
Meh maybe if we were at home. We've struggled biggly on the road in conf play so far. Shame most of our big games other than UT are all on the road.
I'll add that Mizzou was at home but we didn't get the memo of it being a big game until after we got punked lmao.

Taking Auburn down is going to be a tall task, but if you can get the advantage of the glass and especially offensive rebounds might be the key to winning against the barn.

We are decent on the glass, but our bigs lack a lot of little things that keep them from being really solid. Wish we had Tyrese Samuel one more year.

Well, let's just go ahead and put Michigan State on here for the first time this year.
They just lost at home to Indiana. Yikes.

Losing at home to Indiana is worse than losing at home to Arkansas. 😂

By a mile
MSU really isn't as good as their ranking indicates anyway though, imo. They haven't beaten anyone that's currently in the top 25. Schedule has been soft so far, but it won't be to finish out their conference schedule.

They have only played a couple ranked teams and if the refs didn’t just completely destroy Illinois, they lose that one too.
MSU is the poster child for teams that haven't played anyone. There are ACC teams with stronger conference resumes than MSU.

Michigan and Nebraska shouldn't be allowed to finish out their seasons after last night's game by itself set the game of college basketball back 80 years. 49-46, not even gonna say who won cause no one won. Teams shot a combined 34-123 from the field for an impressive 27%. 11-55 from 3 for 20%. Throw in 25 TO's just for the Fvck of it and you have the single worst game in recent history. Both teams should be taken out back and shot.

Game seriously had me considering gouging my eyes out so I didn’t have to watch anymore of it.

Purdue gets clowned four straight, but in each case the refs turned the game against them so they don't deserve to be called a clown team. Fair whistle and they would have won all four. This may be as bad as the screwing Edey got for two years.

Can anyone help me understand what this gif means? For some reason, I thought it was appropriate today but I'm not sure why.
