2020 B1G / ACC Challenge summary

Down year.

No juggernauts from the ACC. I think the depth is better from last year, at least. We were looking at 4-5 tourney teams last year. I think we could comfortably get 7 teams, possibly 8 this season.

All of the games last night were close, except Illinois and Penn State. The Big Ten is clearly the better conference, of course.

So, 6-5? Might have jumped the gun on this one. Michigan even play? Of course, you B1G fans do love to suck each other off.

Yep. It would have been a tough task but if UVA had played and beaten MSU...even. Not even sure what the top of the ACC looks like anymore. Duke struggling. UNC potential. UVA? UL haven’t seen them play?

Our top needs some help no doubt. But most of our top teams are young and figuring things out no? I know we have a lot of new pieces that need to figure out how to play w each other.

As with any of the iterations of this tournament, the matchups between the two sides always can impact the outcome. I think the ACC depth is better but certainly the top of the conference matchups went the BIGs way. If there were different matchups at the top the outcomes certainly could have been more in the ACCs favor.

Thought UNC was real athletic. If Roy can coach them up they could be a factor later on.
