U are ignorant on this. He is a POS. theres a reason only family is caddying for him. And who greeted him after the round? Bubba, who is a bigger POS and a pariah on tour. Good for each other.First time winner. Like the guy. Hated it when he bogeyed the 18th, that cost him a shot at the PGA Championship. Had his wife as a caddy. Now his brother in law. Just seems like a cool, down to earth dude.
Rory certainly talked too much and then didnt back it up. Hes not some cute kid anymore. Hes trying to go down the Tiger path.....Rory came off as an ass to me....Got a lot of joy of watching his ass crumble; the assertion he seemingly made about Reed.
Plenty of people DONT root for Phil and Tiger. I know, hard to believe!People root for Tiger and Phil, both who have arguments against them character wise. Again, don't root for him. We have given you some reasons why we do. It seems that you don't really mean 'to each their own'.
SO where does Painter fall?Yes, if you cheat on your husband or wife, you are most likely a shitty person. there are probably some cases where that's not true, but for the most part, yes. but I'm generally going to hold a person who is faithful in higher regard than someone who is not. same with golf. I'm going to respect the golfer who has never had a problems with cheating or stealing over someone who has.
Painter was alleged to have had an affair. Which allegedly led to his divorce. So just asking where on the totem poll of "pieces of shit" does he fall? What?

Depends on if it was allegedly or not.Painter was alleged to have had an affair. Which allegedly led to his divorce. So just asking where on the totem poll of "pieces of shit" does he fall?
So there's no proof that it actually happened? Ok? Only an IU fan would turn a Patrick Reed discussion into something about Matt Painter. You guys are obsessed.Painter was alleged to have had an affair. Which allegedly led to his divorce. So just asking where on the totem poll of "pieces of shit" does he fall?
Where is the proof that Reed actually stole money? Where is the proof he actually cheated? Same as Painter situation------Alleged accusations. I was hoping you would say this. It's exactly why I referenced Painter. His actions were alleged. Just as Reeds were. Yet you are OK with crucifying Reed. But give Painter a pass.So there's no proof that it actually happened? Ok? Breaking: Emmit Williams decommits from LSU
I'm not sure, but you can't stop mentioning them in a thread that has nothing to do with them. Bizarre.Where is the proof that Reed actually stole money? Where is the proof he actually cheated? Got it.
And obsessed? With fvcking Purdue? I mean, why? No titles. What, two Final Fours? None since 1980. Why in the fvck would I be obsessed?RollLaugh
https://www.golfchannel.com/article/golf-central-blog/reed-accused-cheating-stealing-book-excerpt/ ... do want him to be found guilty in the court of law or something? The court finds you, Patrick Reed, guilty on the charges of possession of the wrong golf ball and/or knowingly hitting the wrong golf ball, a misdemeanor. You will serve a month in the clubhouse.Where is the proof that Reed actually stole money? Where is the proof he actually cheated? Same as Painter situation------Alleged accusations.
LOL....I wasn't talking about Purdue, genius. I was pointing out your hypocrisy. I just used your coach as my example. And as expected.............you took the bait. I love it when a plan comes together.I'm not sure, but you can't stop mentioning them in a thread that has nothing to do with them. Bizarre.
It's hearsay. How do you not know he didn't mistakenly try and hit the wrong ball? Did he admit to it? Did he say, "you know what, I was young and stupid back then. Made a terrible mistake"? Nope. Just some college teammates, who for all you know, may have had some animosity toward him, saying he did. Were you there? Its hearsay. Or in other words, an ALLEGED act.https://www.golfchannel.com/article/golf-central-blog/reed-accused-cheating-stealing-book-excerpt/ ... do want him to be found guilty in the court of law or something? Sure, enough allegations, enough smoke (he actually got his parents and sister escorted by police off the grounds of a tournament several years back) for me to not like the guy. Not sure why you are losing your mind over this. There are plenty of people who don't like him. Much of the coverage following his victory was on his past, why he doesn't have friends on tour, etc. It's hearsay. How do you not know he didn't mistakenly try and hit the wrong ball? Same with the theft incident. Alleged. No criminal charges. None.Again, just allegations.
Me losing my mind? Really? I'm not the one who brought it up. I was well aware of his past. But unlike YOU, I don't judge folks on their past. And certainly not on some allegations.Sure, enough allegations, enough smoke (he actually got his parents and sister escorted by police off the grounds of a tournament several years back) for me to not like the guy. Didn't know this. Wouldn't have linked stuff, talked about his past if that were the case. When you said he seemed like a cool, down to earth dude, I figured you didn't know much about him. My apologies.Me losing my mind? Really? I'm not the one who brought it up. I was well aware of his past. But unlike YOU, I don't judge folks on their past. And certainly not on some allegations.
I know what the coverage was. And it was ignorant. Like I said, folks want to harp on someones' past. It's how we are as a society. I know there are plenty of people who don't like him. BUT............
I'm not the one on here trying to convince folks what a POS he is. That would be YOU. Yet I'm the one losing my mind?
OK...Laughing
No biggie. It was misleading on my part as well; Should've said I was aware of his past. My apologies, as well. You and I very seldom "get at it". Knew there had to be an explanation.Didn't know this. Wouldn't have linked stuff, talked about his past if that were the case. Same with Painter, genius. Allegations. Yet you believe him. Now..........why is that?
35 and 15-20 winds Sunday morning for the start of my round. It’s just dumb that we feel like that’s fun....but it is. I still can’t believe Fowler hasn’t won a major or a few more. I think once he does though, it’s going to be more than one. It took Lefty a while but he has five now. Fowler has everything you need. Minus being too aggressive at times he has no weaknesses.Well, I actually played this morning (was 39* when we teed off so it was pretty dumb, lol) and then watched when I got home. I had the game recording though but forgot all about it even being on. I'll watch it when my wife goes to bed. I'm a huge Reed and Fowler fan so was thrilled to see them finish 1, 2 but it was tough to see the Rickie interview. You could tell he knew how close he was.
That’s funny, I always root for Tiger and never really cared for Phil to much. That’s changed in regards to Phil. Started with him taking his very public stance in the Ryder Cup.I don't root for Tiger (though have warmed up to him a little laterly). By and large golf fans, and certainly fans that attend events, pull for Tiger and Phil hard. It is almost unanimous at the events.
