Pretty solid week of games. I kind of wanted to include the Furman/LSU game, but I'm not overly confident in Furman's ability to stay super competitive in Baton Rouge. Congrats to SIhoosier26 for winning Week 6!

True. But the flip side, is you gain on everyone if you're right. Texas Tech isn't chopped liver. They have the #1 rated defense in the country. I don't expect them to win, but I think it could easily be a single-digit game... UCLA has struggled some, but I don't think Ohio State will blown them out. Wouldn't be terribly surprised if UCLA won.

The week that I went 6-0 was one where I made some picks against what others were doing. I did the same with Tech this week and picked Kansas much higher than most. I think that I'll lose both but if I don't then I'll gain a ton on the leaders.

Clearly I get what you're saying about gaining ground if you pick against the grain. But that logic works if it's like 40/60 chances for the upset. If I believe Duke wins by 10+ (which I do), what good is picking Tech just to be different?

Ideally I want to include close games - and meaningful games. I was actually debating whether or not to put the Duke/Texas Tech game on here. Just seems weird not to include the #12 team in the country because of fear of that team being blowout. In the future, I might only put Duke on here if they're playing a true road game. Don't want everyone putting a 6 down for the same team.

I think we all make dumb picks. Nothing wrong picking Cuse, especially since the zone can be stifling at times - and they were playing at the Carrier Dome. But I do think it's odd to have a 5 or 6 confidence level in them. They lost just a few days ago at home to Old Dominion. And Buffalo is a legit top 15 team.
