Disappointed in your team so far this season compared to pre season expectations?

Pleasantly surprised in your team compared to pre season expectations?

Expectations met compared to pre season expectations?

Auburn’s defense has been much better than I expected. We can’t quite score in bunches like last year but our defense may be better.

above expectations considering the losses. to injury and Graduations, the EE to the NBA and the 2 Transfers were not a big loss to me.

Record is right there. I guess surprised considering our top two guards being limited.

Louisville fan- I’m pleased with our record, but still disappointed that despite the amount of upperclassmen and even a few 5th year seniors, we still come out some games like we are sleepwalking, like showing up is enough to get us the win, which against cupcakes it will but Texas texh proved that if we don’t come out from the tip playing hard, we can lose to any team with a pulse. Imo we lack that foot to the throat, killer instinct, but still a lot of basketball to be played of course, hopefully that’s something we can improve on.

Couldn't be more disappointed so far. The team looks listless, disinterested. I don't mind talking about youth when you're losing to Duke or North Carolina. We lost to Evansville and Utah. Team needs to wake up, big time.

I know we have a history of getting way better, but we also haven't lost to an Evansville even once until this year.

Much better than I thought we'd be but that might be because of how bad everyone else is.

Above. I knew we would probably contend near the top of the B1G. It’s still TBD as some of our early good wins don’t look quite as good now but I still think we are a legitimate top 10 team. Especially with the way the field is this year

Happy, but not satisfied.
Team has no killer instinct.

Play without focus.
Its a long season.
ACC play will definitely get them focused.

We look pretty good at times, other times our offense gets stagnant and we get lackadaisical on defense. Can’t stand when Nwora reverts to hunting shots, and Perry dribbles into traffic with no plan, and turns the ball over. Frustrating. We can look really good though, especially when we’re moving the ball efficiently. Impressed with David Johnson and Sam Williamson so far, both only play maybe 17-20 mins a game, but look poised for Freshmen.

Yes.

Disappointed bc they shat themselves in the CC
Surprised with a freshman, and it's not Jalen Wilson
I did, however, expect to mourn the 3 point shot. They're making a decent percentage, tho - which is nice.

Texas has only played two teams in the Top 50 of both the NET and KenPom.

Have to wait until we get into Big 12 play.

If this team can defend like it should it will come down to creating turnovers and not turning over the ball.
Plus how well this team shoots.

A lot of the teams are in the same position..
Going to look to hold you to 60 points.

Just matters what team can become the most efficient by March and what teams can turn defense into offense.

I still see the ceiling for Texas being the second weekend.
Hopefully everything breaks their way and it is a second weekend playing in Houston.

Despite the SFA loss, I never thought in my wildest dreams that Duke would win vs KU in the Champions Classic, beat MSU on the road and beat VT on the road. I expected us to go 1-2 in that stretch so love where we are at this point.

Tre Jones is as expected but Vernon Carey and Joey Baker have far exceeded expectations.

Wouldn't say disappointed, but unhappy with the guard play. However I haven't really paid much attention either. Basketball season starts Dec 28.

We are 11-0. I'm a little disappointed. I was expecting 13-0. Oh well.

UNCs season is shot, but there are some promising signs for next year... primarily Francis, and Harris.

if holds Iowa looks like it will be another 1st rnd then this time losing to the #1 seed in the 2nd game.

hoping the committee gives them a 5 or 6 seed as they are #20 by BPI and #21 by Kenpom.

Gonzaga is 11-1 and ranked #1 so I am very pleased. I would have assumed that they would be 10-2 before the season had started and be in the top 10. But now They look like a lock for a #1 seed in the west.

Funny thing is that this team is not as good as last years team. Shoot Brandon Clarke are Rui Hachimura are playing really well as rookies in the NBA right now. I' doubt Gonzaga has a 1st round pick on this roster right now.

I think that we just have to realize that this is a down year, and that means that this Gonzaga team has a good shot at winning it all even if they aren't as good as last year. With that said, this team is going to be bonkers talented net year when they get Suggs in as their point guard.
