The SEC is shaping up to be a tough Conference

Few things here. IMO Duke is still really really good if Flagg goes down. The surrounding pieces are so much better than what's being talked about. Feels a little like Tebow w/ Florida.

With Gainey, shoot he might be the guy on Tennessee that I've been most impressed with of late. UT definitely needs him healthy.

It sucks that UK has all the injuries. They were an unstoppable force when we played them this year relatively healthy. I wonder where that offensive performance rates vs some of the other great scoring games this year.
They shot almost 58% from the floor. 14 of 29 from the arc. 25 assists to 6 turnovers. Hell of a game. And even with the injuries, still #6 in KenPom scoring efficiency

Yep. I think the best we can do is a 4. Still solid after losing the 2 time NPOY. All about the matchups for us this year.
I was worried about drawing a 3 seed Purdue in the midwest region and playing yall in Indianapolis. Yall have ended our season twice when we had high expectation. I still think in 2019 if we got past yall we would have beaten UVA in that next game

Yes, injuries happen, but there's a difference.
If duke loses Proctor, it won't have anywhere near the impact it would if Cooper Flagg went down.
If Lanier went down, is it the same as Gainey going down? Nope.
Butler, Oweh, Jaxson and Williams are UK's most important players, if any of them go down, the consequences are steep, because there is nobody on the bench that can fill in. Perry is an underdeveloped freshmen that is not ready for this. He did okay, but watching Perry try to guard Sears was not fun.
Jaxson is out for the season, so our ceiling took a hit, we're a sweet 16 team at best.
So yes, injuries are part of the game, but they all don't have the same impact.
