The SEC is shaping up to be a tough Conference

The roster he was going to have, wouldn't have had Brazille, Aidoo, or Ado.
Ado was already leaving before Cal left, so it's likely we really would have stunk this year and Cal knew it.
How do you know UK wouldn't have had those players?

Also, if Adou was leaving, why did he end up following Cal? That doesn't make sense.

NPOY - Poll

I don't remember this being a problem when Anthony Davis went 16-0 in league play and the next best team had like 12 losses. 😆
Flagg can't touch what AD did in 2012, not even close. Especially defensively.

Second, who was ADs biggest competition in 2012? I don't even remember. Did he have someone like Broome to be compared against? Don't think your analogy works in this case.

Anthony Davis pretty much won every award in existence that year. Duke and Flagg could do the same thing but they haven’t yet.

He was the best player, no one can't argue that.
Deservedly so. But lots of metrics pointing to this being the best conference of all time. It’s not just honking. It’s facts.

Metrics doesn't equate to wins. The SEC was good last year, the Big 12 the year before that and we all know what happened.

Damnit man. Don't make me defend Kentucky.

2012 UK played 6 conference games against tourney teams (excluding SECT) out of 16 conference games. or 37.5%

This Duke team is likely to play 4 out of 20 conference games against tourney teams. It's really not a close comparison.
