This guy would've won the NBA dunk contest this year, as a 16 year old. The best part is that this kid isn't one of those that is just going to play for the teams that are always good. He has about 20-25 teams that have offered him, and he's open to any of them. Even Wofford is on the list.

That's the worst part if you're a college basketball fan. He can be another Fultz or Simmons, not make the tourney, never get seen by fans. It won't hurt his pro career but as a college basketball fan its more fun if I actually get to see great players play in games that matter, or on TV for that matter.

I don't mean for any of those no name teams. I mean it's good for teams who are on the brink of being contenders. He might be the guy who goes to a team who needs him and pushes them over the top. Whereas going to Kentucky or Duke he could just get lost in the mix and never reach his full college potential.

You're right about Fultz, but most people grew sick of the love fest ESPN had for Simmons.

Most overhyped player in a long time. F*** that dude. Shitty attitude, and I could care less if he spends a half of an eternity on that bench in Philly.

This "kid" is crazy. Check out this windmill dunk (head level with the rim) in his State Championship game, where he scored 51 points.

Where does everyone think he winds up? Really wish the Heels could get this scandal shit cleared up, so they'd have a shot. Until it is, kids like this have no reason to chance Carolina. Ugh.

Popular theory is he doesn't leave the state of South Carolina. I don't know if that means Clemson or SC or what... I don't think this is going to be a very "clean" recruitment but I could be wrong if he ends up at Duke. if he goes anywhere else then there were obviously $henanigan$ involved.

I do wish he transferred high schools so he played against tougher competition day in and out.

Is he a South Carolina fan or a Clemson fan? I feel like you have to pick sides in that state growing up.

My thoughts are, it doesnt matter where this kid goes, he's gone after 1 year, does not care a lick about college, so why leave home?

That's why Michael Porter Jr is going to Washington. They're horrible, but he's from Seattle.

There's literally no reason to go anywhere else.

And that's probably why some may believe it may be the same for Zion

Serious question...Can he do anything besides dunk against kids half his size? Does he have a jumper? Can he hit the three? Can he play defense? He's a man amongst boys playing against inferior competition.

Lorenzo Romar is his Godfather and also hired his dad, that is why he's going there and that's why he transferred to Seattle.

I watched him play in a Christmas tourney and the guy guarding him is a top 100 recruit going to Bama and size is close to his. He dropped 40 something on him and busted three after three as well as thunderous dunks. He ball handling was fantastic as well. Nobody in this class is better than him book it!

the competition he plays against is horrible. He is literally playing against little pudgy white kids sometimes that are like 6 ft tall.

Is Duke even recruiting him? I don't think we have offered have we?
