this reminds me of when I played high school hockey and our big rival was Highland Park. When we played them our fans would throw bagels and cream cheese on the ice because their school was 75% Jewish and whereas our school was only 50% Jewish.

Duke is full of New Jersey brats who’s Dads pay out the nose. Been on campus and there are many Asians who are new to America. Very liberal school.

Honestly, I think that may have been more true 10 to 15 years ago, but I am not so sure about that anymore. Tatum, Irving, Ingram, Parker, Bagley, Barrett, Zion... I think that the "face" of Duke, and Duke fandom, has become more diverse than it was when Hurley/Laettner/Wojo/Redick were playing in Cameron.
They don’t really excel at sports much. In the classroom, the best.
Switch Kansas and Kentucky. They called us the “black birds” up until the late 70s early 80s.

So, random little story, I'm on this tiny little prop plane flying one time... can't remember where, it was from some larger hub to a small one, the end of a series... its the holiday season, and we are stuck on the runway. Like, FOREVER. This guy behind me stars whistling "Oh the weather outside is frightful..."
But, like, ONLY those notes.
Over and over.
For, like, half an hour.
Finally I'm about to lose my shit, and I turn around to be like "OMG DUDE CAN YOU STOP", but sitting there whistling is ****ing Bill Goldberg, looking like a grizzled goddamn mountain.
I promptly turned back around and listened to him whistle those same damn ten or so notes for like another 15 minutes.
Now I didn’t Go to Duke so maybe my math is wrong but what about the other 25.5% of the student population?
