Why has Georgia had such a terrible Basketball program?

I feel the same frustration as an Illini football fan … ZERO excuse to not at least be average.

Look up every SEC team in basketball sans UK, and you could ask the same question. Yeah FLorida had some good runs under Donovan(2 titles). But that is basically it. They have been decent.

But outside of UK/Florida, conference has NO history when it comes to hoops. And no I didn't forget about Arkansas...But since 1994, they've been meh. And most of their "history" was built in the SWC...Not the SEC.
