I think Shaka smart should consider a move to Utah, he’s not suitable for a big conference team. You can see his team was playing tight and panicking, the pressure was too much for him and he ain’t capable of handing this as overwhelming favorite. There are coaches who perform much better as underdogs and less stress to win, Shaka can hopefully find his March magic back in a school like Utah.
I’m hearing that Texas fans think they can get Jay Wright or Mark Few.

Eric Musselman to Texas. Started a thread on it a month ago and still think it is a real possibility.
That's a downgrade though unless they give him a huge raise
Arkansas is a better program historically? Texas basketball will always be #2 at best for their fans.

Recruits don’t care what Arkansas did 25 years ago.
Talent falls into your lap at Texas and the fanbase isn’t too demanding. Plus you’re not following a legend. It wouid be one of the easiest places to win big, and they’ll build a statue if you do. They also spend more than Arkansas, and almost everyone else.

Ok? It's not like Texas has done much better. The talent part is true, but as Barnes and now Shaka have proven it doesn't mean that much. Musselman signed 3 top 100 recruits at Arkansas last year. He won with transfers at Nevada and looks like he's doing it successfully at Arkansas too.
What does that even mean? There’s plenty of talent but you can’t win with it? Makes zero sense.
All it proves is that they need a better coach than those guys. Barnes was top 10ish pretty regularly there. A great coach would absolutely kill it.
