Probably even harder to get 4Tough to win 3 off a team in the same yr
Being behind 15 in a regular season game is one thing...you can come back from that. Being down 15 in a single elimination game is a much different beast. It adds a whole other level of pressure that compounds the further behind you get. Saw it last year against Oregon. We shot the ball pretty well in the 1st half. However, then Oregon went on that spurt where they hit a bunch of ridiculous threes. Suddenly we're down 18 with about 15 minutes left. That is when our own shots started to look stiff and the guys looked uncomfortable. Missing wide open shots. When you know your season's over if you lose, the pressure makes it much more difficult to overcome a big margin.Any team that doesnt mind being behind by 15 in the first 30minutes, we know how this ends..

This decade, WVU has a 9-6 record in the NCAA TournamentLearned my lesson in the past, WVA is nothing to be scared of when they aren't playing in Morgantown.
Put them on a neutral court in the tourney and get some refs who call it tight and WVA is as good as gone.
I'm good playing them again. I think we would probably win on a neutral floor, but they would be out for blood.Sign us up please.

I think both fan bases would be confident going into that one. Our team already knows we can beat you, and we have really hit our stride, especially in shooting and rebounding. Always tough to score on you guys, though. Would be another classic.UK seems to be improving, but Not gonna lie... I'd be extremely confident against UK.
We've blown several big leads this year, but that one was just stupid. We should have won that game by 25-30.
Was a pretty flukey game. Dont see UK (a bad ft shooting team) going 18 for 18 from the FT line again, and Knox + Diallo making every shot they throw up.
I think it's one of those strange games where both teams would be pretty confidentI'd take WVU in UK's bracket for sure.
I would not want UK in our bracket. KU struggles with length. Teams without length have a hard time guarding us, because we share the ball well and we have great shooters. Teams with a lot of length though are able to make it tough on our shooters. I'm just glad we played you guys early in the year when you weren't playing as well. I think KU is a better team than UK, but UK is a bad matchup for KU.I would love a bracket with Kansas as a one and WVU as a whatever
As a Michigan fan
I'd love to have WVU in our bracket. Teams with WVU's style of play rarely fare well against us because we don't turn the ball over.

Which means of course that they're going to put you in our bracket. Not only because a UK/KU matchup would be highly rated, but the committee has a habit lately of taking the exact type of team we struggle with and putting them in our bracket. This is basically my thoughts on that game. Kansas is the better team. But UK's length bothered them a ton in November. It will be the same in March. UK is a much different team than in November with Vanderbilt back and SGA at point. Saw an article the other day about UK's 3 point defense being the best since the 2015 team. 8 of the 9 rotation players being >6'5 is a big part of that.

Kansas - 1Can't put UK in ku's bracket because they always put wvu uk together. Can't have the potential of wvu ku playing 4 times in a season.
Has a team ever been beaten by the same team 4 times?
If all four ended with a late comeback, WV might fold their program. That or run screaming like little girls to another conference.
It’s tough to do. KU owes a national title to it.Did a quick google search and found this-

So it has happened, just not very often.
