Any team that doesnt mind being behind by 15 in the first 30minutes, we know how this ends..

i want WVU on the opposite side
i really do not like having to root against them

Being behind 15 in a regular season game is one thing...you can come back from that. Being down 15 in a single elimination game is a much different beast. It adds a whole other level of pressure that compounds the further behind you get. Saw it last year against Oregon. We shot the ball pretty well in the 1st half. However, then Oregon went on that spurt where they hit a bunch of ridiculous threes. Suddenly we're down 18 with about 15 minutes left. That is when our own shots started to look stiff and the guys looked uncomfortable. Missing wide open shots. When you know your season's over if you lose, the pressure makes it much more difficult to overcome a big margin.

This is why the NCAAT has so many massive upsets in the first round. Its all fun and games in the run up to a game with Stephen F. Austin, Northern Iowa, Florida Gulf Coast or any of the other joker schools that are in this thing every year until your suddenly faced with the prospect of them ending your season and even a 2 point deficit 10 minutes into the game will start to feel massive. A lot of teams implode under the pressure.

Learned my lesson in the past, WVA is nothing to be scared of when they aren't playing in Morgantown.

Put them on a neutral court in the tourney and get some refs who call it tight and WVA is as good as gone.

I would happily welcome WVU in the same NCAA tournament bracket as Indiana. Hell, I'd love to play them the first game.

This decade, WVU has a 9-6 record in the NCAA Tournament

Laughing This DePaul fan....

This is about the 6th time Ive seen you say this, and you're still wrong.

WVU wins their early season tourney every year on a neutral court.

We have wins @OU, @ KSU, @Baylor, @OK St, @ Pitt. We won @UVA, @Iowa St, @ Texas, @ KSU, @ OU, etc. last year.

Should have had wins @ KU two years in a row, and @ TTU this year, but we blew big leads.

Been to the Big 12 Championship game 2 years in a row on neutral court (if you really want to call KC neutral)

In the NCAA Tourney on neutral courts we've played to our seed and advanced to the Sweet 16 twice in the last 3 years. Got smacked by an unreal UK team and lost to 1-seed Gonzaga by one bucket.

I'm good playing them again. I think we would probably win on a neutral floor, but they would be out for blood.

UK seems to be improving, but Not gonna lie... I'd be extremely confident against UK.

We've blown several big leads this year, but that one was just stupid. We should have won that game by 25-30.

Was a pretty flukey game. Dont see UK (a bad ft shooting team) going 18 for 18 from the FT line again, and Knox + Diallo making every shot they throw up.

I think both fan bases would be confident going into that one. Our team already knows we can beat you, and we have really hit our stride, especially in shooting and rebounding. Always tough to score on you guys, though. Would be another classic.

I think higher seeded teams should be afraid of us given we have shown plenty of potential to compete with the top tier, and lower seeded teams should be eager to play with us given we have also shown plenty of potential to play down a tier.

I would not want Duke to face WVU in the Sweet 16 for sure. It's a nightmare matchup for us because Duval and Allen are shaky ball handlers so Jevon Carter and company can really thrive off live ball turnovers.

Also, Sags Konate would give Wendell Carter trouble down low.

I would love a bracket with Kansas as a one and WVU as a whatever
I would not want UK in our bracket. KU struggles with length. Teams without length have a hard time guarding us, because we share the ball well and we have great shooters. Teams with a lot of length though are able to make it tough on our shooters. I'm just glad we played you guys early in the year when you weren't playing as well. I think KU is a better team than UK, but UK is a bad matchup for KU.

As a Michigan fan I'd love to have WVU in our bracket. Teams with WVU's style of play rarely fare well against us because we don't turn the ball over.

Not sure how I'd feel about Michigan.

Havent seen much of them this year, but I'm sure they're a 3 point shooting like all Beilein teams. That could be a problem for us since we seem to give up a lot of open 3's.

We'd eat Michigan alive on the offensive and defensive glass though, and don't think Michigan has a whole lot at the pg spot to handle 40 mins of pressure.

This is basically my thoughts on that game. Kansas is the better team. But UK's length bothered them a ton in November. It will be the same in March. UK is a much different team than in November with Vanderbilt back and SGA at point. Saw an article the other day about UK's 3 point defense being the best since the 2015 team. 8 of the 9 rotation players being >6'5 is a big part of that.

Unless you have already played WVU this year NOBODY wants to play WVU. Hard to prepare for that press in a day or 2.

Which means of course that they're going to put you in our bracket. Not only because a UK/KU matchup would be highly rated, but the committee has a habit lately of taking the exact type of team we struggle with and putting them in our bracket.

Can't put UK in ku's bracket because they always put wvu uk together. Can't have the potential of wvu ku playing 4 times in a season.

Has a team ever been beaten by the same team 4 times?

If all four ended with a late comeback, WV might fold their program. That or run screaming like little girls to another conference.

At this point, I give no fuchs who's in KU's bracket.

Michigan
Michigan State
Virginia and Nova

Are the only teams I would bet on against Kansas.
Will not put a dime on KU, tho, regardless of opponent.
